Wow! We arrived but discovered that there was a mishap where a member of our group thought they had booked but actually hadn‘t. The First male staff member we encountered was amazing, friendly, kind and accomodating. We ordered our food and our Waitress was again...extremely kind, knowledgeable on the food just plain entertaining. The food was quick to come out but absolutely delicious. There were four people in this group with one person that was gluten free, one vegan and two that will eat anything. All of us were very well fed. I walked out already plannings next visit.More

Brilliantly situated in Federation Square. You can sit outside and watch the tennis (or what ever is being shown) on the big screen. Friendly staff will get you a blanket if it is cold. Or you can sit inside. Good for coffee, juices, beer or...wine. But well worth staying for the imaginative food. A mixture of Japanese and Korean with some Australian influences. We were with a family party of 8. Some absolutely beautiful food, especially the Kingfish sushi. Deserts were wonderful too. Excellent service and great attention to detail in the dishes. We really felt the love in the food

Very nice Asian restaurant in Fed Square. Visiting from the States -- stopped here on my first night in Melbourne. Helpful staff was able to seat me even though I didn't have a reservation. Modern decor with communal seating tables. Had Asahi beer, spicy pork...ramen and ice cream trio of vanilla, green tea and azuki bean. Everything was very good.More

I had a delightful lunch here with my friend. We arrived without a booking, but welcomed. We were seated at the bar area for less than five minutes before being shown to our place. We were on the end of a larger shared table but...with space between us and others. We ordered lunch and wine. We were talking and didn’t really notice the passing of time. It was probably more than 20 mins before the wine came, then probably that long again before food arrived. But it was good. We had the Sizzling Tofu with a Green Salad, and the Shake Ramen with salmon. Both were great. Although the tofu wasn’t actually sizzling, it was very hot, so clearly just cooked. I love Chocolate Buddha, the food is always on point and the staff are incredible. I have been going to Chocolate Buddha for years with my friends and family. This year I organised my work Christmas lunch to be at Chocolate Buddha. In our team...we have two members two have serious food allergies and the Chocolate Buddha staff went above and beyond to assist. It was fabulous!More

Fantastic location in Fed Square, super busy but the service was great, a bit challenging at start ordering on mobile but all worked perfectly. Food is super tasty and would visit again.

My girlfriend and had just gone to see an amazing documentary at the Melb Queen Film festival at ACMI then wanted to debrief over a drink and something to eat after wards We hadn’t been to ChocolateBuddha for over 10 years so popped in From...the minute we walked into the light and airy environment we were greeted with a smile and offered a seat at the sushi train immediately A lovely lady (sorry didn’t get her name but she had a back hair, a lovely nose ring and the best attitude- not an Aussie as she gibbed us) guided us through the QR code menu set up, not something we had used a lot and checked back in with us within 5 mins to make sure we’d ‘got it’ The App was easy and she answered all our questions with a smile and shared her thoughts on our choices Within minutes we had our drinks and food came shortly after The food was fantastic, so fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. From the minute we walked in, the young person who brought our fare and from the moment we were farewelled at the door, it was a top class experience My friend and I have been in hospitality industry for 30 + years and haven’t been so excited and enjoyed a dining experience so well for a long time Well done CB team you have made us regular guests moving toward and racing fans🙏More

Haven't been here for a seriously long time and wont make that mistake again... Warm enthusiastic staff - don't grapple with the electronic ordering system if you don't want to. You can get your order taken in the traditional way. Food comes out quickly, well...presented and tasty. Good pick if you have a function to go to elsewhere.More

Re food not exceptional great compared to other Asian inspired food in Melbourne. Very over priced , service was very very average , until served. Not entirely busy had to twice ask for service for orders made. Not sorry but will not come back again...& we eat out alot!More
