Super friendly and quick service, pretty decent cup of coffee and great selection of coffee-making paraphernalia. Happy to have found this spot!

I came unexpectedly into Melbourne and stumbled across Quist by accident. It was coffee time and today wanted to try it with soy milk due to a little reaction to cows milk recently. The coffee was great and couldn't sit and drink as this place...has not seating - totally takeaway. You can actually buy your coffee beans from them as well which is nice if you enjoy what they have on offer. The look of the place is fun and interesting, something from a century ago. There is also a small retail part to this place where you can pick up an eclectic tea / coffee item for that someone special. Staff are very helpful and seem to know many of their regulars by name. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/stroller accessible. Reasonable parking. Dietaries catered for. Takeaway food available.More

Excellent coffee. Soy milk available. Friendly service. No seating, takeaway only. Even got a free biscuit thrown in. Fantastic. My new go-to in Melbourne CBD.

We visited for 6 days and tried various coffees, generally the ones rated 4 and above on Google reviews. We were beginning to think they all tasted similar, even if they were all good. Then we had this on our last day and this stood...out above the rest - great coffee by experts!More

I always enjoy visiting this historic coffee shop each time I come to Melbourne for great coffee, great service and to pick up some of the best ground beans I've ever tasted. One of the original coffee shops in Melbourne, truly well worth a visit.

I knew this place would do great coffee based on the queue alone and I wasn't disappointed. Possibly the best coffee I had. Ever!

I went to Quists for a coffee yesterday. It was the best ever. Also, my husband is a real coffee snob & he raved about it. You don't drink your cuppa here as it is a tiny shop. It is full of different coffee items...& of course the many different types of coffees in bean form or ground. Oldest coffee cafe in Melbourne & best kept secret, as many people have no idea what a little gem they have in their midst.More

Quists roast beans for lots of other outlets and have been doing so since the Victorian government brought the original Mr Quist from Denmark in 1938. Needless to say, it’s great coffee at exactly the right temperature.More

Good quality coffee tucked away on Little Collins St. Tiny shop but fairly quick service. Reasonably priced. Also sell a range of tea/coffee products.
