Terrible food, I will never order from here again. I had the chiken tikka masala and couldn't eat it. Threw most of it out.

Excellent restaurant, great ambience service and food.Love the sign Stay calm and eat curry. La Taj Chicken curry. Special. Hotter than tika masala is very tasty. The vegetarian platter is highly recommended

We have eaten here twice in the last 6 weeks and enjoyed the food / service each time. More recently we had a large family celebration for 13 people and the restaurant was busy with a couple of other large groups and some smaller tables....We had a range of vegetarian and meat based entrees and main meals. Everyone commented about how flavourful the food was throughout the night. Service was friendly and efficient and the 3.5 hours passed very quickly. Highly recommended.More

We couldn't tell the difference between Butter chicken and Beef Madras, they were virtually the same colour. Both meals were fatty. Madras was like...a gravy and both meals lacked flavour. Some chicken was raw. I mentioned to waitress and she took fatty bits to chef but no response. Guy at reception wasn't bothered. No wonder the restaurant was quiet. I would not recommend.More

Eaten here many times, but my first review. Excellent host who remembers your favourite dishes. The Tandoori Platter is always my entree, followed by Beef Vindaloo nice and hot and Rogan Josh or Chicken Tika - basmati rice and garlic naan always magnificent - small...but good drinks selection all reasonably priced. If you find a better all round Indian restaurant experience in town, let me know - this ones a little gem 👍More

My husband and I have been ordering take away from Le Taj once a week for almost a year. The food is consistently good and the staff are pleasant. We highly recommend it.

My wife and I chose to have the "Set Menu 2" for dinner, which consisted of the following: Entree: Veg Samosa and Chicken Tikka Main: Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Veg of the Day, Saffron Rice, and Naan Sides: Raita and Papadums Desert: Gulab Jamun...Absolutely delicious, perfect portions served with pride. Had very nice food here although the breads were a bit salty. What made this less enjoyable was the behavior of the lady who served us. Very friendly at the beginning but was doing everything to get us to leave after the meal. It was...still early so it wasn’t like we were last to leave.More

I got takeaway from here last week. My complaints are: 1. Chicken was raw inside 2. The chutney was just apple pie filling 3. Samosas had a black mashed potato inside 4. The saffron rice was just regular rice with a few drops of yellow...food coloring 5. The Raita was just tub yoghurt with grated carrot and zucchini in it 6. The sausage was an old dry chorizo I wont be getting takeaway from here again.More

We order Signature dishes in starter nd main course nd Sweet lassi, interior was pleasing by food was disastrous, too much burnt spices. Flavour was completely missing. Lassi was like water with sugar. Overall .05 out of 10

A friend of mine suggested this great Indian restaurant for a quick lunch. Most dishes are originating from the Northern part of India. Service was very friendly and fast. We simply ordered way too much, but it was worth it. The naan bread was great...and Marsala Chicken my favourite together with saffron rice and Indian pickles. It is a genuine and simple place you will greatly enjoy if you appreciate Indian cuisine.More
