Very pleasant indeed.. immaculate presentation of all aspects within the restaurant. Staff, table settings, glassware and of course the food. 6 dined and all were extremely happy with their meals. Perfectly located on the northern fringe of Melbourne’s CBD in Carlton. “Bon apetit “

The food was very pleasant. It was not cutting edge, but everything was very tasty. Over the years, it has been a very reliable place to go to for French food

Amazing. There was nothing on the menu we didn't want to try! Every dish was perfect! Party of 6, we all had a range of dishes. Entrees included Assiette Froide (mix of the ocean trout, terrines and pates), ravioli, Plateau de charcuterie and steak tartare....Everyone couldn't say they had better anywhere. Mains included Entrecote de boeuf, Canard a la Montmorency, the specials board lamb dish and special board coq au vin, specials board barramundi and scallops. Serves were very generous and we couldnt fit in the amazing range of desserts!!! Service was excellent despite the restaurant at capacity and multiple sittings.More

A small quaint restaurant, not much seating so you do need to book . Quite an extensive food and wine list . You can BYO which is always great for the wine enthusiasts. I didn’t know that on booking and was surprised to see a...city western restaurant have this. I thought the food taste was average. It lacked presentation plating up .More

We have been to this gem of a Restaurant quite a few times now and it is my favorite French Restaurant compared to several we go to. It is great atmosphere and is not too noisy, with great ambience, fantastic service, a great selection on...wines and meals which are very reasonably priced for the quality you receive. In fact, we had my 60th Birthday there in May 2019 with a table of 8 of my closest friends for lunch, who all thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience with gusto. So many compliments on the quality, presentation and portion size of the meals and the fine wines we consumed. We were all trying each other’s dishes and we loved them all. Staff do not try to push you out the door afterwards and allow you to linger, relax and enjoy yourself. We have been back again and will continue to patronage this lovely Restaurant, either just the two of us or with friends.More

We celebrated my neices birthday here. It is easy to get to on public transport and the walk around some to the local streets is delightful. The food was so fresh and well presented and reminded me of the importance of French cuisine to our...basic understanding of most western food. The staff were helpful and attentive and able to provide explanations about the specials. The wine list is extensive with a leaning towards French wines but some excellent examples of local wines as well. We will be back to sample some more of this menu.More

We return to this restaurant every couple of years. If it were closer to home we would go more frequently. Food is always great. There is plenty of time between courses so lots of time to chat and make an evening of it. The escargots...were great. Lovely eveningMore

A little slice of Paris in Carlton. Beautiful food and great service. My parents love French food and were so impressed with the flavours, servings and presentation. A lovely evening.

If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated

gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this
