The team were unattentive (we had empty wine glasses twice, for over 10 minutes each time) and dessert orders were not taken. The amuse bouche started well, but in the end it was comparable to a "classy pub meal" - nothing to be excited about....More

We joined family at Florentino for drinks and dinner and were very impressed by the friendly and efficient staff, they couldn't do enough for us. It's a restaurant l wouldn't normally participate in as it's very expensive but for those who can afford top service...More

Lovely bistro. Food was only average. Wine was overpriced. Expected a great dinner and got a pricey dinner in a hot and noisy restaurant. Wish it had been better. It was highly recommended.

My daughter and I had lunch at the Cellar Bar yesterday. The restaurant was pretty full but as we were away from the bigger tables, conversation was not a problem. We had 3 courses each plus a glass of wine and coffee for 50.00 per...More

We went here for a family dinner. The foot looked great but dish after dish was flavourless. The only one that tasted great was a small amuse bouche of fava beans and preserved lemon. I had nettle risotto with crab which looked spectacular- bright green...More

Upstairs was a step back in time on many levels. The décor was probably stunning 40 years ago as was the service; now a little stifling in its reverence. The degustation courses were mostly stunning, but again, popular dishes from last century. Having said that...More

I chose a delicious ricotta and spinach ravioli with burnt butter sauce neither my friend or I are big eaters so we're pleased the waiter offered both our pasta choices in an entree or main size. Delicious bread and pleasant environment.

Hadn't been in years so more out of curiosity. Superfically, the service very attentive but I wondered when I dropped a fork on the floor, picked it up and put it on the side of the table. The waiter watched this, walked past 3 times...More

It’s ok but nothing special. Seriously overpriced at the Grill and $5 each for tiny oysters is laughable. I’m happy to spend a serious amount of money on decent food such as in Paris, London or any city but this in Melbourne left my wife...More

Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways
tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary
feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the

Hello, I'm sorry for the delay. No doubt you have already experienced the delight of Grossi Florentino by now. Smart casual is fine, but it's so lovely there and getting dressed up would be nice.
