I've had quite a bit of Thai food in my time and I found this restaurant underwhelming. The look of the restaurant was quite nice and I liked that the waitresses were dressed in traditional Thai clothing. The food however didn't hit the spot. The Tom Yum soup was overpowering and the golden triangle noodles were nothing special. The meat... More

Thai food is my favourite and this restaurant has to be the best. 5 of us had 6 mains and couldn't finish it all (not for the want of trying though) The food is simply the best I have had outside Thailand, flavoursome, spicy, well presented and reasonably priced. For lovers of Thai food it's a must. Graham P

The Golden Triangle Thai Restaurant is in my opinion the BEST Thai food in Melbourne... I love my Thai food so im always quick to select a Thai option. I used to live around the corner from this restaurant and it was a fortnightly ritual to pop in and order a dish or 2... Now Im willing to travel across... More

One of my favourite easy going restaurants in Melbourne. Good choice of several so called thai courses... Service is fast and reliable. Chang beer available ice cold. Good deals, definitely reasonable prices on food and wine... The only thing I wish they d get rid of the moquette, the carpet, pretty bad to see a restaurant with carpet... Will be... More

The restaurant is upstairs, so you need to keep an eye out for the little door! Food was very tasty - lots of traditional Thai dishes served well. Portions were of a good size, service was attentive but not overbearing, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

With a work colleague and looking for dinner when we came across this restaurant. It's upstairs and tucked in around a corner - so may be a little difficult to spot. Decor is simple and Thai inspired, staff are friendly and efficient. The food is traditional Thai - full of fresh flavours and quick to your table. The atmosphere is... More

My family and I came here for dinner last night. It was very crowded and the staff looked extremely flustered. They took a while to bring over the menus, and finally brought them over when I got up to get them myself. We ordered the pad Thai, green curry chicken, seafood jungle curry, stir fried eggplant, pad grapow, gado gado,... More

Excellent service and extremely yummy Thai Food. Tried their Soft Shell Crabs, roti, sea food bbq and a fried rice with pineapple. They all were very tasty. Staff were very friendly and quick service as well.

We love this little local, above the 7/11 don't expect much in the decor department however the food is consistently good. It's not your 5 star modern Asian cuisine it just your good old fashioned Thai classic good. It BYO and you can take your leftovers home.
