This is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Convenient central location, with a very cozy atmosphere and incredible food. The pork is fantastic, as is the service.

Fantastic friendly service! Seriously delicious food! Fab little location... so good it motivated me to write my first ever trip advisor review and quite possibly the best pork dish (the hot pot) that I’ve ever had. Amazing cocktails with Japanese spirits too... AAA+

We arrived drenched after being caught in a summer thunderstorm. We were welcomed with dry towels and warm smiles. We ordered Katsu-don, Katsu curry and tonkatsu which were all equally delicious, with sweet pork cooked perfectly . Green tea icecream to finish was lovely.

Went here on the off chance and what a delightful experience. The food was delicious and very tasty, the service was good and luckily we got seated straight away on a busy Friday night. Would definitely go back.

I would book, purely so you don't miss out on dining here. There are only about 25 seats & being on the corner of Hardware Lane there is a lot of dinner foot traffic. Make sure you try the seared salmon nigiri :)
