Retro American laid back joint, Philly burger bob on! American burger bang on! chicken burger was exquisite, nothing more you could ask for in these amazing burgers. But what complimented was the milkshakes & the Golden Ale, there are no words to explain them! A fantastic diner that we as a family will return 2!

I really enjoyed this diner and it's funky vibe the staff were friendly and funky also! I had the fried chicken and it's been on my mind ever since!!! I will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Yummy chips and the salad is also good as well, coming from someone who doesn't like salad! Recommend 100%

Came here with my boyfriend for a relaxed dinner. Absolutely loved it. The service was on point, the guys that were working were really friendly and down to earth and the food was great. Damn, those curly fries were good!!! I got the Dynamite burger with onion rings and my bf got the ribs. So yum, will be returning :)

The food in Parlour is good but it doesn't make up for the rude staff and the time you wait. Last Friday evening my boyfriend and I ordered some jalepeno poppers and a 6 piece of chicken meal with curly fries to share. Upon ordering we were told the chicken would be about a half hour wait which we agreed... More

An American style diner that can't do a good burger. Some of the tastiest burgers are the simplest, this was terrible. Gristly meat, almost no flavour, fries were OK.

As an American abroad, I'm quite critical of places claiming to serve American diner food. Parlour was pretty spot on! We had the curly fries (great), onion rings (decent but the batter was strange), American Classic Burger (very good) and Chicken Burger (awesome). Plus Budweiser and a few other American craft beers! And the service was quick. And reasonably priced... More

Parlour has been a favourite of mine and my girlfriend's since we discovered it a few months back, now we have cravings for their chicken wings and jalapeño poppers, both of which are sensational. The chicken wings are by far the best I've eaten in Melbourne, if not history and the jalapeño poppers are finished with a lovely avocado and... More

Nice burgers, very, pork and chicken options. Super pulled pork on a roll. Limited beer menu. Friendly service.

This pleasant diner offers a nice range of quality burgers and other fried foods, set in a cool retro 1950s American retro environment. My partner and I each had a burger - he tried the cheese burger which could have done with some seasoning, and I had the chicken burger. I have to say my choice was better - it... More

My partner and I had the Parlour burger with curly fries and asian slaw. The burger tasted average but there was a lot of gristle in the pattie. I was ok to eat most of it as I'm used to eating off cuts but did spit some out because gristley chunks weren't pleasant at times. My partner didn't like it... More

Staying in Chapel Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Chapel Street
Seek and ye shall find! Prahran is a treasure hunter’s paradise of vintage stores, upscale boutiques and emporiums. Chapel Street is a one-stop shop with specialty stores selling just about everything. The famous Chapel Street Bazaar has so many curious and vintage knick-knacks that you will feel as if you're in a huge and busy museum. By contrast, at the northern end of Chapel Street, South Yarra and Windsor cater to high-end designer labels and exclusive boutiques. The community flocks to Prahran’s organic markets as a Saturday ritual, while art and film students leaf through vinyl LPs on Greville Street. The gay community also has a strong presence here. Prahran’s heritage buildings like the Reads Emporium and Prahan arcade offer a grand sense of scale and history. No matter your interest, come feel the pulse of one of Melbourne’s most loved precincts.
