I was catching up with friends for a pre-Xmas dinner and we chose this small but pleasant Lebanese restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. There was a reasonable variety of dishes on the menu to satisfy most people including vegetarian but we all decided on the set menu which was pretty much a sampling of most of the dishes on the main menu. Wise choice!! The food was great with many interesting flavours and the portions were not small either. No-one went home hungry! I chose a lebanese beer to compliment the meal and that was also quite good. Overall a good night out. Good food, good company and pleasant atmosphere,. Couldn't ask for more.

This restaurant feels very much like you’re in the lounge room of a Lebanese family. The dishes are generous and good but overall not remarkable. Really good, smoky babaganoush, served with homemade flatbread. We also enjoyed the little lamb mince pies. Mains were ok, eggplant and fish in generous proportions. Some lovely tea and dessert to finish. Authentic and enjoyable.

The falafels here are excellent! Lots of vegetarian options. Inexplicably on the day we visited they had no hommous. Not sure how this happens but extremely disappointing. The bench seating is very low and rickety and not really suitable for eating.

We discovered this wonderful little restaurant while wandering the streets of North Melbourne/ Parkville. As we are a bit tired of the pub food, pizza restaurants and hamburger joints, we decided to sit and enjoy some Lebanese food. We ordered a variety of mezzo platers and a a few glasses of wine. We sat at the tables In the street on beautiful balmy night and enjoyed wonderful food. The decor is basic, but the food delicious and overall very inexpensive. Platters x 4, wine x 2, a total of AU $67. All pretty good for dinner in god old Melbourne Town.

We had wanted to go to this local for some time and so made a booking over Easter. What a disappointment. There didn’t even seem to be a chef on site. The young helpful, but very inexperienced, group of young women seemed to have to reheat and serve the indifferent food as well as wait the tables and serve drinks. The food was clearly all pre-prepared. A dud I thought. Did have price going for it. Was not expensive at all, but the price didn’t make up for the food.

I found the service standards to be appalling at this restaurant. Slow service, unfriendly and our table didn't even get water or drinks for 20 minutes after we asked. Not even a beer which came out of a bottle or tap water. We were left hungry and not even pickles or dip were brought out for half an hour. A waste of good money.

After seeing a comedy performance at the Lithuanian Club, we decided to take a look at Agraba as the place was buzzing and had more groups than any other restaurant on Errol Street. There was only one table left, right near the kitchen. The aromas were incredible as we eagerly awaited our order of falafel, kibbeh meklieh, chicken skewers and fatoush. The portions were generous from the mezze menu. Flavours were wonderful, fresh and full of Middle Eastern zing. We finished with Turkish coffee and the znoud el sit, which absolutely blew my mind!!! We’ll be back again!

After reviewing the various middle eastern restaurants we thought this would be worth a visit. But sadly disappointed. The food was served so quick you wondered if it was precooked and reheated in the deep fryer. No flavor with the lamb or spicy sausage that was not spicy. Puta bread cold and stale. Large serve of fried (deep) halloumi which was crumbed and flavorless. And needed something to cut through the fat. As for the cleanliness you could see the fat dripping down the walls in the open kitchen.

I liked the food, good for a change from the every day. The venue is very small, so does not work that well for larger groups and only able really to talk to the person sitting next and across from you. The noise just did not allow for group discussions.

Had dinner with a group of friends - we shared various dishes (chicken and lamb skewers on delicious rice, an amazing lemon fish, fatoush salad, lamb and pine nut pastries and of course baba ganoush) which were all delicious! Looking forward to going back to try other dishes - they all sounded great!

Service was a bit slow. Food was typical Lebanese fare of which I am no great fan. No complaints about the quality of the food. No booking was necessary.

Had dinner with friends at the recommendation of one of the party. Unpretentious surrounds but the service was attentive. Food varied in quality. Some very nice hummus and tabouli and the chicken skewers were a hit. Falafel were dry and not very tasty. Good value for money - we took home an untouched plate of vegetables.

We brought our daughter to her training and went to Agraba Lebanese Mezze to have dinner until she will finish. Waitress told us that it is cheaper to have set menu for two, which cost 45$ per person. We looked menu prices and understood that she is right. But she didn't say that we will not receive full portions. So it started with entree. We received small plate with babaganush- eggplants, four small samosas, four small pieces of haloumi. Pita bread was cold and wasn't fresh and I had to ask staff at least to warm it. Then we've got two falafels and two small meatballs with small plate of salad. Everything had tone shared. Main course was worth than it. Waitress brought us two skewers (one lamb and one chicken) with 4 small pieces of meat on each and said that this is portions for share. Lamb smelled disgusting . We only tried it and left on plate. As special dish we also received big bowl of stank soup. For desert they gave us one portions of panacotta with instruction to share it. Never take this deal. It is robbery. We also ordered takeaway chicken skewers for our daughter , which cost 17.5$ where we're 3 skewers. That was menu portion. In addition to this disgusting dinned we didn't informed in advance that we had to pay additional 3$ because we were using credit card for payment and I found it only when I've got receipt. I add pictures of each chapter of this story including takeaway dish and invoice. We love Lebanese food and therefore visited "Agraba". It was our first time and definitely last one. The restaurant itself is dirty and disgusting.
