This is one of my favourite local restaurants. Ciao cielo is intimate for couples yet still great for small groups. The food is consistently great. The staff attentive without being intrusive. The scallops are divine, as is the goat. This restaurant is a must if you're looking for a great meal in Port Melbourne.

Meal, Atmosphere and Service was 5/5! I highly recommend Ciao Cielo. I will definitely go back. I had a crab pasta, which was so light and delicious and I also had homemade Tiramisu for dessert. It was amazing!

We were a couple of out of towners looking for a small, intimate and quite restaurant offering great food and service...well we found it. The goat and linguine special delivered in spades anKkate the next morning and it was in the mail to me that day. Worth a visit....absolutely!

Found this place by accident walking up Bay St. Waitress greeted us warmly and found us a table for 2. It's a small restaurant and it was pretty full but we were a little late so managed to get a walk in. The food was fantastic. It's a small menu but everything we tried was amazing. Service was also excellent.... More

I had walked past this place a million times and have always wanted to have dinner there. It always looks so inviting - it's always full and it looks so cosy, romantic and Italian. Anyway I finally went on Saturday night and it was exactly how I imagined...the food was beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cosy, the service was... More

Very much enjoyed the food here. I had the scallops, followed by goat leg. Both of which were cooked to perfection and delicious.

Situated in a strip shopping centre we were greatly surprised by the ambience of this restaurant. It is beautifully presented, the service is understated but very efficient and the food is absolutely outstanding. Loved this place and will definitely be back.

A small intimate restaurant to celebrate an anniversary with my wife was the occasion, Ciao Cielo delivered the perfect atmosphere. From the warm friendly welcome (we felt like old friends), the knowledgeable and unobtrusive waiting staff, the amazing food and wine. A night to remember. Do yourself a favour - book a table soon!

This restaurant never fails to please us. It's intimate in a New York sort of way and the Christmas decorations are stunning. The menu has old favourites and new dishes as well. Staff courteous yet personable. Scallops were great as was the goat dish and fish. Good wine list and very reasonably proved.

Ciao Cielo - literally translated from Italian as Hello Sky - is a sparkling addition to the Melbourne restaurant landscape. Situated on lively Bay Street, in Port Melbourne, Inspired by Art Deco elements, Milano sophistication and the glamour of the 40's. Original floor to ceiling boards, beautiful lead light windows dating back to the old shop row days when hardware was the trade. A look at the portraits on the walls show a tribute to the very much loved and missed Lloyd and Mary Grand parents whom past in the Black Saturday fires Bryan's food is about strong italian flavours reflected in the abundance of amazing produce availiable locally in Victoria. Bryan is by no means a traditionalist, he believes in the right to be as creative as one desires with what you are inspired with.
