Good cafe food and coffee is you’re around the place. Price was normal cafe price. There’s easy parking at the side. Service was quick and staff are friendly

7 Seeds is close to the hospitals, unis and student accommodation, not far from the markets and the tram stop. It’s located in a big barn of a place, so tables are very well spaced, and there‘s some limited outdoor seating in a relatively quiet...street. Coffee is good, and amongst the café staples, there’s a good range of cakes and salads.More

We spent the week in Carlton and tried a number of different venues for breakfast and dinner to cover a range of experiences and cuisines and visited Seven Seeds based on the reviews we had read. A clever and creative design and ambience. Service was...good and the staff we spoke with friendly, although not overly busy first thing in the morning when we were there. The coffee was very good. The all day menu is quite tight and unique which some may find restrictive. I was disappointed with the scrambled eggs and bacon as a side, which did not state it was pork belly and cooked crispy (I felt burnt). two thick pieces of white sour dough was one too many. My wife provided feedback and experienced some defensiveness but obligingly provided no charge for the bacon. Ok for something hip but our experience at Vertue Coffee Roasters superior.More

We went to this place to have brunch with our friends. We all ordered different plates but I will focus more on my order which was Avo something goodness or Godness... And God knows it was delicious 🙌 what made it so special besides the...stunning presentation was macadamia nuts and sour cream. You just can't go wrong with those two. Coffee was great as well. I drink almond flat white and I am quite picky when it comes to this combo ;) Highly recommend😉More

We visited Seven Seeds following a recommendation from an Uber driver. Although it was busy we were seated within a couple of mins. Both the food and coffee are worth a visit.

My husband and I had a delightful experience at Seven Seeds inside the Williamsburg Hotel for Sunday brunch. When we walked in, such a pleasant hostess named Jessica greeted us. Jessica was very accommodating and made sure we had the best seats in the house...in honor of my husband‘s birthday. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The live band was the cherry on top! We made reservations to return next week again! Thank you for a lovely experience!More

Young Merlot took Vin and Mrs. Merlot for an early Sunday morning breakfast after we collected him from airport. Interesting larger space with effectively 2 “rooms”. As it was early no problems in getting a good table. Definite hipster vibe happening. But as is commonly...now the case the music too loud for bare concrete floors in open space! Breakfast very good all round with a few interesting twists. Coffee very good as well. Recommended and a definite return.More

My partner and I visited this cafe on our recent trip to Melbourne, as we were staying nearby. On our first visit - we got a simple takeaway order of a coffee, juice and hash brown. Really enjoyed it, so we decided we would have...a proper breakfast here before leaving Melbourne the next day. I ordered my usual go-to (scrambled eggs on toast) and was really disappointed. It took a while to get out to us (it was a Saturday morning so we were pretty understanding), and when it arrived, the eggs had a green tinge to it and were really overcooked. They were dry and not fluffy at all, and I left half of it on my plate I was so disappointed. The eggs were bland and tasteless. My partner tried it too and agreed they didn't taste very nice. Not only that but they were quite expensive, which I am more than happy to pay when the food tastes good. On the way out I noticed other egg dishes being sent out and they looked very different from what I had received - they looked fluffy and cooked well. I think I may have just gotten a bad plate - but for almost $18 for scrambled eggs and a hash brown, I didn't enjoy what was served. The coffee and homemade hash browns are really nice here I will say. Service was friendly, just a bit slow.More

If you want real parmesan, cut from the block, grated
over your pasta with a twist of style, this is the
place. Until recently, this neighbourhood was home to
the notorious ‘Carlton Crew,’ a pseudo mafia who
started their day with a local espresso. They are
gone, but the espresso still runs strong in this
Little Italy which has something for everyone.
