We loved the carbonara and tiramisu. Less so the prawns. The other tables’ pizzas looked soooo good! Always good to be in Max’s. Such an institution on Hardware Lane.

The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food was average - I had the lamb shanks which was terrible and I wouldn't recommend. My husband had Veal and loved it although they served very small portions.
