Stumbled across this place by accident and ended up going back each day during our short stay in Melbourne. Very tasty crepes and very friendly staff!

We had a late breakfast here and had excellent coffee, lemon and sugar crepe and a Parma rocket and cheese galette. Lovely food and charming French cafe.

Drppoed in for lunch and we're totally thrilled, we shared two fab galettes, tarteflette and Camembert, both great, accompanied by a French Chablis. Finished off with a crepe Suzette, swimming in orange marmalade and grand marinerstaff were friendly, witty and French with great English. Smiles all around. Highly recommended!

Stopped in to have brunch and ordered a "gallette" with ham and egg. It was very good. The service was great too. Nice find for reasonable lunch. $13 each for good fresh lunch. Not much seating buut a few tables in and some outside in alley.

I came here with my husband whilst on holidays. We shared the chicken and avocado crepe. It was fantastic. Such good flavours! The food was served quickly and the coffees were perfect. It was lucky we didn't find this place on the first day because we would not of ate anywhere else. Perfection!

Came here for breakfast with my partner. Had the crepes with cinnamon apples and booze, cream and ice cream which they light on fire. Was absolutely delicious. Crepes were superb. The best part about the place is watching them make the crepes and listening to the chefs/waitresses talk in French. It's a small place. Maybe not ideal for groups.

My wife and I had stumbled upon this creperie in a little side alley within the CBD. The place is small and cosy with a real European humbling feel about the place. I ordered the Escargot Crepe and my wife had La Capri. Both dishes were superb! We followed up with a fantastic coffee and some dessert crepes which, after... More

We visited for breakfast and there's something for all the family. Watching the crepes being made was an added bonus. We tried the ham & egg galette with avocado and the kiddos had the salted caramel crepe and the choc and banana crepe. Super yummy!

Description
Roule Galette is a little piece of France in the city where you will find French staff, speaking the language of Voltaire who will serve you in a warm and intimate setting reminiscent of Montmartre in Paris.
Music, whether Breton or French songs of the last century or more modern times will accompany your meal along with authentic Cider from the Pays d'Auge in Normandie, or Cotes du Rhone or Burgundy wines. Not to forget the inimitable Orangina.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
