Staying in Melbourne and popped in for brunch before heading out for the day and wow the coffee was one of the best I have had. The eggs benedict were sensational with a mountain of ham and some great hollandaise, the other meal the corn...and zuchini fritter wasn't to my taste, really just a heavy patty rather than a light fluffy fritter and the sauce (tarragon) wasn't for me but it is a great place with awesome service and I will be back to try other things on the menu.More

Staying at a hotel down the street, I took a walk this morning and stopped in to Decoy. What a lovely find! Great coffee, delicious yogurt and fresh muesli, and lovely servers. I wish I were staying longer, because I would come here regularly!

A nice cosy cafe. The service was good and friendly and the breakfast reasonably nice. The flat white was good. Will be back.

Staying at Fraser Place on exploration lane and read good reviews so thought we’d try decoy for brekky. It was an easy1-2 minute walk. The moment we stepped through the door we knew we'd made the right choice. Greeted with a warm and friendly welcome....Melbourne has good coffee but this place had really good coffee. The staff are probably what makes this place. Both the times I've been so far the staff have been friendly and smiley and very efficient. Both the coffee and our food took no time to arrive. The bacon and egg bun with hollandaise was awesome. If you're over this end of town, I very strongly recommend getting your coffee and breakfast from decoy! I'm going there right now!More

I often find myself in Melbourne very early in the morning and not many places are open. This place is open, but not only that, the service is friendly and the coffee excellent. The breakfast menu is what you'd expect with a few of the...standard items and a few variations. I'm a writer and often need to work to deadlines so it's great to find a place where I can sit, eat, enjoy a coffee and get some work done. Decoy is my go-to!More

Staying in Melbourne cbd thought we’d try this for brekky. The moment you stepped through the door you knew you’d made the right choice. Friendly efficient staff, our coffee was on the table in a flash and the right temperature. The food wasn’t far behind....The staff were attentive and we never had to ask for anything. Satisfied customer. I am really fussy and this visit even inspired me to leave a tip. Do yourself a favour and go there.More

Clearly a popular spot for takeaway coffees, this has a nice quiet spot upstairs to have your coffee amongst a lot of artwork. So a good place for a business chat.

Out of the few cafes I had breakfast at whilst in Melbourne, this was the best. A cute little cafe, good service, nice coffee and toastie. It was a tiny little cafe, so would be unsuitable for large groups.
