We just arrived in melb and needed a little snack. We were shown to a table outside so we could be amongst the atmosphere. The owner came over and chatted to us and gave us blankets to keep our legs warm. We ordered a couple...entree size meals to share and they topped them up so we could share equally. Coffee and hot choc were lovely as were the entrees. Will definitely return.More

I really loved this place ... set in the middle of Federation Square. If you are coming from Flinders Street station ... head straight up the stairs and it’s on your right . It’s next door to the Koori Heritage Trust. Service in this place...is incredible - so friendly. I ordered a pot of tea and sat outside . I also ordered a dish of broccoli and beans which was incredibly tasty. This is a great place to sit and watch the world go by ... there is heaps of seating inside and outside. I sat here waiting for my coworkers to arrive... after I ate.More

We had a lovely time. The food was very filling. Highly recommend the green tea soba salad, Panko barramundi fillets, vegetable curry and teriyaki chicken don. Delicious.

The rice noodle dumplings were amazing. And the soft shell crab dishes. Good meals to share. Deserts were nice too

Second time dining here as so impressed with the food first time. A sunny afternoon with lots of action in Fed Square made this a vibrant choice. I can’t go past the Brunch boxes. A twist on bento. The spicy miso pork belly is tender,...lean and tasty. Also, try the Japanese Screwdriver - fresh flavours that go well with the Japanese style offerings. Service was friendly, and leisurely, but we weren’t in a rush. Great fir groups & families as well.More

We're always looking for somewhere to eat before going to the Arts Centre and are usually disappointed with what's handy. First time we've really enjoyed a meal in Fed Square!! Lots of Japanese dishes (had to google a few) and plenty of vegetarian options. My...hubby had the vegetarian ankaka tray which included a selection of different dishes and I had the teriyaki chicken don, which had a very generous portion of chicken and was delicious. Good selection of beers and wines, and coffee wasn't too shabby either. Well worth a visit.More

We stopped in for early drinks before Hans and Nora Heysen preview at NGV Fed Square. Staff very welcoming and nice, the atmosphere outside at sunset - delightful. we sat and soaked it all in while waiting for our daughter to arrive. Had such a...nice time we decided to come back for a meal after the gallery visit. So glad we did because the meal was superb. Staff very attentive and friendly a perfect way to finish such a lovely outing.More

Stumbled across this place when the Tennis Open was being shown on the screens in Fed Square. The service was very very slow in a bar that was less than 1/3rd full. Positives, the wine was lovely and the view of the tennis appreciated.
