The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The food was fresh, plenty of fresh and stewed fruit and the meal hot and tasty. The service was brilliant and no waiting to be served and the coffee made to order.

Melba's is an institution insofar as high end smorgasbords go. Every trip to Melbourne requires a visit to this great venue. This time it was mountains of prawns, oysters and West Australian crayfish. All were yummy. We then went on to duck pancakes and had...More

The title says it all. As a buffet it's as good as any but the prices are outlandish. Don't expect a leisurely meal eaither. You get kicked out for the next sitting. Try somewhere else.

Went to the buffet for lunch at the Melba Restaurant and it was an amazing feast of cuisines. The venue is very luxurious and the service was excellent. The food choices are extensive for both mains and desserts. Definitely worth the price.

I would NEVER wear things and shorts anywhere except in the garden. Smart casual is the go for lunch at the Melba. Take advantage of shopping in Melbourne and buy something nice!
