If there was one right way to make supurb nasi goreng, and there are many variations, this place has it! For 4 or 5 years I've visited this small and busy food joint for nasi and a second favourite, seafood char quay tow. Just awesome...freshly made stir fried dishes. Another good dish is the basil fried rice with chicken, but enough of my choices. Just pop in and try out a dish, you'll be glad you did. The place is small, noisy and at lunch very busy. I've been here often over the years and always had consistently-good Asian food for a great price. Seating inside is cramped and it gets very popular around lunchtime so you need to try to beat the crowd. There's seating outside, but I prefer to take...the food to a nearby park. Other outlets have folded around here but this place just keeps on going, and attracts the biggest queue of all the outlets around here.More

This is a bit of a hidden gem, but that's good because there's not a lot of seating. The food is always excellent value for money, and that's why you'll so often find a big queue outside when other eateries nearby are ignored. Especially on...a cold day, the yummy hot food is the way to go! But because it's so popular, be prepared to wait if your're there at lunchtime. I love the kway teow and laksa, but my friends rave about their other dishes too.More
