Amazingly simple and coffee in its purest!! Super friendly girls on the floor, and offer great coffee retail products too.. certainly a must stop off for a caffeine hit, and potentially the best in Hobart!!!

Good coffee in a cute quaint little place. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's a relaxing place to sit. Just a nice little spot in the city.

There are a lot of coffee/cafes,houses,shops in Hobart to experience. I found the Villino Expresso cafe about 4 to 5 days into my holiday and up to then had not experienced a quality coffee experience. For me a coffee has to provide me notable flavours with a story and the coffee here did not disappoint. So a big thank you... More

If you are looking for a really fabulous coffee in Hobart this is it. There is a small food menu, basically you come here for the coffee. If you like ice in your iced coffee you need to ask.

A welcoming environment that has been re-designed to allow for 6 more seats, which means clients are more likely to find a spot than in the past; this cafe is a victim of its own success!

Villino is a regular haunt for me. I thought it was a bit unfair that I hadn't reviewed it, so here goes. Without doubt this is one of the best coffee vendors in Hobart. Without doubt. And this has been true from the day they opened to the present day. Coffee is made with knowledge and care and delivered with... More

I don't know Hobart very well, but I knew I wanted a really good coffee to start my day. I went on TripAdvisor this morning and found a review on Villino - the review was accurate and the coffee was fabulous. So I had two while I did some work. The food is quite minimal so don't go there with... More

A select few spots in Hobart are ones that I would consider as having "great" coffee, and Villino is certainly in that category. It's about quality and service, and both of those boxes are very much ticked here.

Established in 2008, Villino Espresso is the retail outlet for Hobart based coffee roasters, Villino Specialty Coffee. It is also the big brother to Ecru Coffee, a hole-in-the-wall coffee outlet located 20 metres down Criterion Street. The Synesso Hydra serves up the Synergy house blend for milk and regularly changing single origins for black coffee. Various brew methods - pour over, batch brew, cold drip - are available and one of Hobart's largest ranges of freshly roasted beans (blends and single origins) are available by the bag.
