Went with a group of friends and had some lovely wine and great meals. Great below deck experience. Good variety on menu and a lively venue. Found the staff to be very accommodating! Casual dining at its best

Much hype for what is really a gimmecky fish and chip shop. Limited choice, slow service and expensive. If you want deep fried prawns and fish, cheaper at Maccas.

on arrival I knew the place must be popular as there was a large queue outside even before the restaurant opened. Even though we did not have a booking we were quickly taken to a table, service was friendly and efficient with very amiable staff. We only had the mains first being the seafood chowder which was fantastic and very... More

This is a complete experience. Atmosphere is maritime themed, and the place is like a museum, live ship experience. Tables range from galley style to ship's bow dining with a great deal of maritime history to look at. It is some what theme park like, with the food overpriced for the end product. The menu is extensive, with a variety... More

We visit every time we visit Hobart. Delicious fresh food and a really cool, atmospheric fit-out. Definitely a lot of character and soul to this place.

Make sure you make a booking as this place is very popular and people are lined up to get a seat. My colleague and I had the 6pm - 8pm dinner allotment. The location is wonderful near the water at Constitution dock in Hobart and the restaurant is contained within a wonderful old shipyard building. Once seated I started to... More

We ate here on 3 consecutive nights during a recent stay because there were so many things on the menu that we wanted to try - and we did. The mussels, the oysters, chowder, chipotle calamari, yachtie's mixed grill, fish pot and the wok pot. All were delicious but our favourite was the wok pot. The first night we were... More

Strategically located at the beautiful Wharf, near Mures and Grand Chancellor Hotel. This famous restaurant offers a great deal of fresh seafood and drinks. Interior was amazing with heaps of old school seafarer's gears. Good table service even though the restaurant is frequently crowded with locals and tourists alike. Would recommend a reservation to avoid disappointment! :)

What a fun restaurant, totally decked out in a nautical theme. It felt like being on the set of a pirate film. As you would imagine seafood is their specialty (especially the seafood chowder) but I did notice they had a couple of vegetarian and meat based meals. All the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious and very generous... More
