This tiny little tea room is located in the quaint Hampton Rd Village among the old sandstone homes of Battery Point. (Keep your eye out as we walked past it the first time.)The calm atmosphere suits the area perfectly. Service is warm and each dish is prepared individually. We enjoyed our breakfast eggs & the coffee was the best we... More

Best cafe in battery point - just perfect. Great coffee, food and ambience- sitting in the autumn sunshine over breakfast just perfect.

Accidentally wandered in not realising this was a vegetarian cafe. Was actually looking for bacon and eggs and well, what can I say. I'm convinced vegetarian is way way better than bacon when it's done like these girls can do. Care, attention to detail and brilliantly delicious flavours. Best tea and coffee I've had and seen. Walked out feeling happy... More

went there for lunch and was pleasantly surprised the lunch special took me to another place. Blissfully unaware that my carrot salad had traces of roasted almonds, lemon and brown rice with a smattering of earthy flavours to boot. Refreshing house pressed juice provided an excellent crisp finish to the palate journey. Will have to try their tea given this... More

Went here for brekkie the other day and loved the food and setting. The cafe is in a small and old building with lots of character. I had the winter porridge and it was so yummy. The staff were lovely, almost felt like you were going to someones house for brekkie, that sort of friendly vibe. Would like to go... More

In Battery point, with interesting drink selection - though some a little pricey like $8 for a tea - nice staff, and surrounds.

Tasmania is all about discovery and often that requires a little effort. Trekking up the hill away from the hoards of Salamanca the cries of protest to the distance and incline were quelled by our arrival at beautiful Battery Point. Amongst the historic houses sat the cosy Pollen Tea Room. If you love interesting teas and well made coffee then... More

The wife and I aren't veggo's or health nuts but we do agree with the idea of this place, that food is your medicine (or toxin depending what it is). Our medicine today was Kombucha for the microbiome, and the pollen jamu which is a health drink made from fresh ginger, mint, lemongrass, lemon and local honey brewed with an... More

This cute little café was down the road from us in Battery Point, and we were so pleased to come across it on our first morning visiting Hobart. Good choices for both Vegetarians and Vegans!! Very cosy front room, courtyard out back. Delightful staff, newspapers supplied, really fresh and such delicious food. I wish we could have afforded breakfast here... More

Lovely café, with cute little sunny court yard out the back. Fresh food prepared well. Not cheap, but worth it.
