A neat little corner store

I must say that they make a good coffee and sumptuous cakes. The service was reasonable fast and friendly.

Amazing Pancakes!

This place was very busy, always a good sign. Had a long black whilst waiting for food, it was the best coffee I have had in a long time! Ordered the pancakes, they were super fluffy and delicious. Cooked perfectly. 10/10 would definitely come back.

Excellent

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 young kids and the cafe could not have been more accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious too! There’s a whole pancake menu - winner!!!

Lovely brunch and lovely people - great service!

We found this place whilst we (3 of us) were in town as part of birthday celebrations for my partner and shopping for a few things before heading north. The brazilian lady who served us was lovely, friendly and very efficient. The brunch menu catered...for a variety of tastes and was very reasonably priced. The owner of the cafe served our meals and again was very friendly and looked after our needs well. It was popular with locals and the meals and coffee were delicious and we'd certainly visit again next time we visit Hobart . Well done guys and thanks for your efforts - we really appreciated it and enjoyed our meals.More

Great breakfast - ordinary coffee

The breakfast was great, crispy toast, lovely home made Hollandaise, eggs just right, tomatoes cooked to perfection. The potato rosti were very gluggy and thick, heavy on the onion. Very friendly atmosphere and service, whilst a little slow for food. Sadly the coffee was very...ordinary. Someone needs barista training, as it was tepid, insipid and tasteless. I would definitely go back for food, though until they can make decent coffee, it's on hold.More

Our favourite Hobart cafe

We always look forward to visiting Basket & Green whenever we are visiting family in Hobart. The food, coffee, service and ambience is second to none. We are never disappointed and highly recommend a visit. Enjoy!

Dissapointed

Birthday lunch for 11 people. Over 1hour for meals to be delivered. Coffee while waiting. Friend ordered soup and was last to be served. Items missed from orders. Chef did not know how to poach a egg. Fried egg offered. Room freezing. New place for...all of us but won't be returning.More

Tasty food served by friendly people in a relaxed atmosphere.

I have just spent 8 days in Hobart and during that time I enjoyed many relaxed hours with my family at this lovely little family run eatery. The food was always fresh and very tasty. Must Try In Hobart

Fantastic experience. Family run cafe, very authentic and caring people. I could see that despite being very busy on Sunday, they looked after me and quality of food was excellent. We ordered Rosti and Ranceros. It was our last meal before leaving Hobart and it...was a memorable send off... All the very best and I will be back when in Hobart.More

Breakfast of Champions

I had one day in Hobart and had breakfast at this delightful cafe. Best Eggs Benedict I have had in a long while. Coffee was yummy and the service friendly. Highly recommend.
