Having lived in Malaysia for 14 years we were pleased to find this restaurant in Hobart. It is not fancy but it has excellent Malaysian food at reasonable prices. We chose the Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng with the extra prawns- they both need...More

First-time Malaysian food so I can't say if it's authentic or not but it was fantastic. Picked up multiple dishes for takeaway. Servings are bit small but also not expensive so you can try a bit of everything. Very friendly staff, they even gave us...More

I'd heard good reports of Sawak but only recently ventured in - lured by the temptation of pan-fried dumplings. I ordered the pork dumplings as a takeaway and was delighted I did. I came back with a work friend today, and neither of us could...More

I came here after reading all reviews and quite disappointed with the food. Food was very bland and definitely not a typical Malaysian dishes. I ordered char kway teow, wonton noodles, curry puff and all are mediocre.. I will not recommend this to anyone.

The food from this little Malaysian restaurant is consistently fresh and very very good. Have been eating here regularly (eat-in and takeaways) for over 12 months and just can't fault it. Absolutely the best food and service, plus very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!!

Great, tasty, fresh food made with love. Nice flavours, fast service and unbeatable pricing! My son Jack asked to give this place a 10 star quotation, my son Charlie a 2000 star quotation.

Fantastic freshly cooked food at great prices. Small but busy, so after reading other reviews we booked a table. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we fed four adults for $50.
