Wow! Absolutely delicious food. So much to choose from and beautifully presented. Friends and I stopped early to grab some breakfast items to take with us on way to Bruny Island. Delicious. Must be on the list when visiting Hobart!

Get here early on weekends as it is very popular but service is exceptionally speedy. As well as being able to get delicious cakes and bread here breakfast carries you through the day. Poached eggs, scrambled eggs and bruschetta are served on amazing bread. Coffee is excellent

I love going here on a Saturday morning before or after the Salamanca Market. It does get busy but it is lovely to sit outside when the weather is sunny, even in winter I always feel like I could be in Paris with the beautiful pastries, cakes and breads. Must visit if you are in Hobart

When I say Cuisine, I refer to the cakes, biscuits and pies. Look no further in Hobart. Prices are not cheap, but when you enter the premises and see what is on offer, the cost is forgotten. Great to look at, and fantastic to eat. As a Driver, I have recommended this place to many. Not one complaint, and I... More

Had been worded up before visiting Hobart. Must visit D&D. Breakky it was, Saturday early before Salamanca Market. It pays to get there before 9am, it seems. We ordered eggs - poached for her, scrambled for him. The bread was really good, crisp and tasty. The eggs were just as good - perfectly cooked. Good coffee, fresh real OJ and... More

Centrally located near Harbour with indoor and outdoor seating . A very popular bakery cafe serving delicious savoury and sweet baked items to tempt young and old. Just a look in the window at the amazing cakes and gateau for sale is too much for me , personal favourite are Portuguese custard tarts !

It was quite by chance as we were wandering around Hobart heading down on Murray Street towards the ports, that we accidentally came upon this fabulous cafe. Even from the other side of the street it looked enticing, so we decided to investigate. What a great place we found. That it was a good place, was very evident by the... More

Great service. Saporous scrambled eggs on sourdough which tempted me back each morning. Expresso was perfect. Banoffi, mumma mia finished me off. For lunch I had the lamb and rosemary pie twice. First time I though, man this is the best pie ever, pastry was buttery french and every ingredient balanced right. Second time it was over cooked but still,... More

So many good things - a regular clientele, plenty of space, not expensive and an array of goodies for the mid-morning crush. The breakfast was delightful and the eggs and smoked salmon to relish, Yes! The place just has it in spades.
