Super bakery/patisserie with mouth watering options for breakfast. Attractive seating area, friendly staff and excellent food. Can highly recommend the baked eggs and mushrooms plus the croque monsieur… both very rich and delicious!
Nice place. Staff nice. Food ok. I had prawn and smoked salmon tartlet which in my own stupidity assumed would be like a quiche...wrong. stone cold puff pastry smothered in mayo sauce with 2 cold prawns and sliver of salmon. Was disgusting. Hubbys baked egg...with creamy mushrooms were nicer. My advice check out the cabinets before ordering i wish i had. Just think better options elsewhere.More
This cafe was only minutes from our hotel so we just found it by chance. It was a Very Pleasant surprise. The breakfast menu is not your typical menu which was a real treat.
We enjoyed the baked eggs with mushrooms fish and the eggs...with smoked salmon. Both cooked with delicious gruyere cheese and Both absolutely delicious - our only complaint, that the serve was not huge. But, that then gave us room to share a delicious pastry with coffee - clever.
We returned the next morning.More
A very delightful cafe with very tasty pastries and coffee. It was very busy at the time but people were coming and going all the time so we didn't have to wait long.
My family and I shared a gorgeous breakfast before picking up some lovely snacks to nibble through the day. The pumpkin tart was a great choice for breakfast and the sourdough loaf was one of the best we have eaten in Tassie. The highlight was...the meringues which were colourful, huge and deliciousMore
We stopped in for a quick, dine in snack as this place is across the road from The Tasman. It was mid-afternoon so the cabinets were starting to thin out, but there was still enough to choose from.
We had a small cappucino and small...soy cappucino which were tasty, but not quite hot enough as we had ordered extra-hot.
But the star of this place is the pastries and the rolled apple strudel served in big wedges was just what the doctor ordered. I also had the last baklava roll dripping in honey. Mmmmmm.
This place always looked busy and we stopped by the next day for some takeaway snacks for our day trip - more apple strudel, pain au chocolat and a Portugese custard tart.
This place is not good for your waistline!More
Utterly exquisite. What a wonderful French inspired cafe. Presented so temptingly and delightfully tasty. Will be coming here again. If I lived here it would be my favourite cafe.
Daci & Daci is a brilliant Cafe. It became our go to place for amazing coffee and hot chocolate while holidaying in Hobart. We had Croque Monsieur for breakfast and it was delicious. Their cakes are works of art and taste as good as they...look. Well worth a visit and is highly recommended.More
