Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Called into this yummy cafe after our Mt Wellington sight seeing. I had pork and fennel sausage roll with caramel and raspberry crunch my wife lemon citrus tart. From the moment you step inside the decor creates a classy atmosphere reinforced by the great staff. then the food is to die for. Best patisserie style cafe we have dined at. Will have another meal there before we leave Hobart.

Outstanding food, pleasant service, nice setting, good coffee. Everything you want from a cafe. We visited on a Sunday, choosing to avoid the busy times - arriving for lunch just after 2pm the food selection was terrific and not many people. Happy to see Daci and Daci products for sale in Salamanca Fresh. Highly recommended.

A must go if you have a sweet tooth. We got a small selection of cakes - I forgot the exact names--a chocolate cake, cheese cake, and hazelnut cake. All were very tasty and not too sweet.
We got them to go as the shop closes at 5:00pm and we arrived around 4:30.

Beautifully presented cakes, croissants and breads. The place was extremely busy so we ordered takeaway coffees, chocolate croissants and semolina cake all of which were yummy. The petit fours looked amazing.

Our group of four had one of the best breakfast ever and wish we lived locally so we could return on regular basis. The food was outstanding with an extensive breakfast menu and fabulous pastries. We ate an assortment of dishes and topped it off with a croissant and some pastries to take away, along with their beautiful meringues. Excellent coffee and friendly staff. No wonder there is a continuous stream of customers both dining in and taking away this wonderful food.

We have been to Daci & Daci before so we were disappointed to find that their breakfast menu had changed and they don’t offer the usual bacon & eggs we expected. They now serve prepared dishes that are heated in the oven ( eg croissants and baked eggs) The usual fabulous display of cakes and pastries are still available so if you’re going for morning tea or lunch you will still enjoy it. Service was friendly and attentive.

The to go place for brunch and afternoon tea. The croissants and danishes are the key to your heart. Their breakfast menu will keep you on a high for the day in a prime location near the wharf. Love it.

We enjoyed our breakfast here, it was surprisingly quiet on a Saturday morning so we were able to get a table without a booking. I had the most delectable croque Monsieur and it was huuuge. My partner had the baked eggs. Our food and drink came out efficiently. The cakes all looked delicious but we didn't try any. Would be a great spot for a coffee and cake.

Wow. The coffee queue was out the door - knew it was good.
I walked past following breakfast at my hotel so made sure I went back for lunch.
I wasn't disappointed with a lovely pumpkin/goats cheese tart followed by a delicious mini pastry with my coffee.

Oh my lord, the food was delicious. We stumbled upon this bakery just on the off chance as we were wandering around Salamanca and we wanted to get away from the crowds.
A special mention to whoever your pastry chef is because the desserts were phenomenal, we ordered 3 to share and we still wanted to try more but my pants would not allow it.
Please set up in Melbourne, show Acland Street a thing or two.

The weather was cold and rainy on our Saturday morning visit to Daci & Daci, inside was cosy warm and at capacity. After a short wait and time to peruse the tempting sweet treats in the display cabinets at the front of the cafe we were sitted and our orders taken. Staff were attentive and keen to take and fill orders with the constant queue of customers. We thoroughly enjoyed our chosen danish pastries with seasonal fruits and one with rhubarb, and not overly sweet. Coffees were made well and at good temperatures. Daci & Daci Bakers was only a short walk away from the Salamanca Markets.

This is must visit for breakfast whether you feel like a light start to the day or a wholesome meal to keep you going the whole day. The selection of Viennoiseries was amazing - the bombolini and Portuguese tarts an example. The poached eggs were a great colour and tasted equally as good, add the side of crispy bacon and you are set for the day. The Daci & Daci Continental is something special. Staff were excellent. We had breakfast here 3 out of 4 days. Wish we had found it on day 1. Highly recommended.

First impressions are great. You walk in to the cafe and are immediately hit by the range of appealing cakes, pastries and breads. Then there is the ample space meaning you can sit in comfort without feeling crowded or in need to leave as soon as you've eaten. Coffee is satisfactory but not 5 star and like all cafes in Hobart over-priced. But this is a very comfy stop.

Noticed the interesting and delicious looking products displayed when walking by to catch the ferry to MONA and made a point of calling in the following morning. Great decision. Staff were attentive and friendly. Coffee was terrific as was the breakfast. Got some of their patisseries to take away and consume as we strolled around the wharves. Would love to have tried a few more of their goodies.

Beautiful setting, excellent service, very prompt, polite and extremely helpful staff. The chocolate tart we had was exquisitely presented, and very tasty, not too sweet, and you could appreciate the quality of the chocolate. The coffee was nice. They allowed for the ease of sharing of deserts with extra cutlery where needed, without any fuss. I would definitely go there again.
