A cosy little cafe that serves hearty and delicious dishes made with local produce. Absolutely love the food here, the green eggs were fantastic, as were the accompanying crusty sourdough toasts. The service here left us feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Mia is such a gem! She's friendly, funny, and just really lovely :) Definitely recommend Pigeon Hole for... More

We happened to stay up the road from Pigeon Hole during our Hobart stay and didn't need to look elsewhere for our breakfast spot after our first visit. It was superb! The breakfast menu is extensive and original, the bread is delicious and the staff warm and welcoming.

I read about this place after a google search and was excited that they use local produce and was highly rated. I am so glad we came here! The menu is quite different to your usual big breakfasts and eggs benny, and the food is delicious. But THE COFFEE. Oh my goodness it was one of the best coffees I... More

Called in for coffee at a very busy time. Lovely welcome, coffee served quickly . Good coffee, but a little sweet. Fresh bread came out of the kitchen and we could not resist. Bought the salted baguette and it was delicious.

This cafe was recommended to us. There was only a small menu but what we tried was delicious. Portion sizes were reasonable. Their loaves of bread and pastries looked delicious. We tried the chia pudding bowl (not very sweet but was tasty and had beautiful fresh ingredients), toast (delicious!) and the green eggs-delectable!

Nice idea to be sustainable, recyclable and organic etc. Fantastic bread. Coffee was bitter and acidic, baked eggs with olive and herbs/cheeses was smothered in so much oil so as to be inedible. Noisy. I'll return to SmallFry instead in future.

We went here for breakfast and a coffee. Staff were really accommodating and service was excellent. Vegan friendly and good place to take kids.

We had a delicious breakfast at the Pigeon Hole, whilst staying in Hobart. We visited on a recommendation from a family member, and were not to be disappointed. The Cafe is funky and quirky, and the food is all locally sourced, natural and delicious. The coffee is outstanding. I had the Gingerbread Granola with yoghurt, manuka honey and preserved fruits.... Enjoyed the Gingerbread Granola, and served with a lovely smile from our waitress Megan. A great cafe with lots of atmosphere.
