A 7 course degustation of superbly cooked local and fresh produce. The place is small (would only fit 5/6 couples comfortably) but that adds to the unique experience. Service was great and food amazing. I believe the Menu changes regularly which is great as we...will be back next time we're in Hobart. The Wallaby and the Scallops were stand out dishes.More

Wonderful meal, attentive informative staff. Couldn’t fault anything. Great range of drinks to complement the meal.

We really loved our set course meal. We agreed our favourite plate was the kingfish sashimi. Other dishes included Bruny Island oysters with miso butter, Tasmanian scallops, wallaby eye fillet and yuzu tart with boozy blue berries and double cream. I think we drank the...restaurant out of yuzushu, our favourite sake! The service was warm and attentive. We will be back. Thanks for a great night out.More

My wife and I had the feed me and added an order of edamame. She had wine pairing and I had the sake. Each course was exceptional. The plates were small but the flavours were amazing. One of the best meals we have had anywhere....The place is small and you will likely be disappointed if you don’t have a reservation. Well worth the cost of $205.50.More

Bookings essential. Seats about 13 people. Most seating is at a bench along the wall. The menu is simple but great variety and flavours. Service is friendly and helpful.

My sister and I had an amazing "feed me" meal at Kin. Loved every mouthful and the service was impeccable. Great atmosphere and enjoyed our chat with the chef at the end of our meal. Can't recommend highly enough!

Had the tasting menu with matching sake for $100 per person. The six courses fantastic but the miso butter oysters were by far our favourite

Absolute wonderful find - the food, the service, the venue, the value. I’ll be back as a regular. It’s a special place, but don’t tell too many people...it only has a small seating capacity. Big certainty is not better.

We booked a table for 2 (there are 14 seats in the whole place - 2x tables for 2 and the rest are sitting along the bar which runs around the rest of the dining room). Everything was good, but the wallaby and kingfish were...highlights, and the yuzu tart was fantastic. Tasting menu for 2 and matched sake came to $200, which for this experience and quality is great value.More
