Not much of a choice when you came to Coober pety. I guess why the high rates. Two potato cakes 5.00. But then again we are 5 hours away from the city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was nice and good how...we asked. We got the bbq patter. For 44.00 was expecting more. But still was nice. Couldn’t complain about the service. Got our food in 20 minutes after ordering. What a gem (pardon the pun for Coober Pedy!). The food here was excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed, especially outside in the private beer garden. We ordered a variety of meals for our family of 4. This included pizza,...burger, steak and open yiros. We couldn’t fault the meals. They were large and good value for money. We didn't eat out much in CP, but this place was an unexpected great spot to stop in for a meal. Diner style at the roadhouse was so much better than expected.

This is a great place for an easy dinner or lunch. There is great food, and friendly service. You can enjoy a beverage and at the same time fill up for fuel.

This is a lovely restaurant better than many in Adelaide. Our family of 4 loved it. The location seems off putting but don’t be deterred. Cheerful staff, good wine list and the crispiest chips I’ve ever eaten. The sovlouki chicken ( or lamb) is their...signature dish and is amazingly good.
