If you like Fish & Chips or any seafood you better hurry!! For some time now the Italian Club of Coober Pedy has an excellent seafood night every Friday of the week. Not expecting a great deal of seafood in the outback of South Australian...we were totally surprised by the quality and taste of the old fashioned Aussie meal prepared & served by club member...More

We stopped here for an evening meal and a few drinks in the beer garden to watch the desert sunset. Meal orders are taken from six o'clock. Menu is primarily fish and chips or fishermans basket and the like, all handily delivered in a cardboard...tray wrapped in butchers paper with a slice of lemon and presumably from the pristine waters of Coober Pedy. BUT I must say both the fish and chips tasted quite good and complemented the beer and the desert sunset. So much so that I would go there again. Enjoy!More

We thoroughly enjoyed our lasagna and salad for dinner. This community club is small and very welcoming. Staff were very pleasant and the service prompt. Great view of the sunset from the outdoor area. Highly recommended.

Yummy food. Locals all recommended. Nice views over the town. Large outdoor smoking area with shade and then some non-shaded outdoor bits and two large indoor areas. This is a club which has a small menu and a large bar

Had to hang around the car park and wait for it to open as it opens after 5pm weekdays but proved to be well worth the wait. A friendly little Club with great home cooked style meals and all at very reasonable prices. Happy bar...staff and well priced drinks with an outdoor beer garden & BBQ area with great views over Coober Pedy. A real great find in town !More

Coober Pedy is an amazing place to start with and the idea to serve dinners in what started as miners’ club created by miners of Italian origin. Various nights feature different dinners and offer different dinners. Wednesday is lasagna night. It is a brilliant idea...and promotes socializing.More

Choices of places to eat in Coober Pedy are limited but we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of service and quality of food we recieved here. The building is neither new nor modern but this helps it to maintain some authenticity of its beginnings...in 1964 during the height of opal mining. The walls are adorned with photographs of a bygone era. The food was home made and delicious.More

This was no public transportation when we were in Coober Pedy. Our hotel manager dropped us off at the restaurant and we walked back to our hotel. Since our Greyhound bus left at 5:30am we also walked from our hotel to the... More
