We are locals who had been to Spice n Ice many times and used them for takeaway as well. We had delayed visiting for a number of months as our last meal and service experience was poor. I am really pleased to report that Spice n Ice have returned to the excellent standard that made us regulars. Steaming hot naan and beautifully balanced spicy Saag chicken and Madras beef. Service was also excellent. Well done!

We come here often for family get togethers and sometimes just to get our Spice n’ Ice fix. The food is consistently good, staff mega friendly, and the atmosphere in this place is good also.

We visited Spice n Ice last night, we are regulars because the food is so good. Last night was my Husbands birthday so of course we go to our favorite place and they didn't disappoint. Best Indian food in Adelaide and the Servers are so lovely. We had a gorgeous girl and boy looking after us and as a thank you for our support they gave us a free dessert and put a candle on it for my husband. It was the Chocolate cake with Ice cream, they serve it warm with a hot choc sauce, yum. All the locals go here as we all know a good thing and if you want it hot, just ask, they won't disappoint you. I give this place and the service 5 stars

Lift your game, we hadn’t eaten here for a long time as we had previous poor experience but thought we would give them another go. We had a friendly greeting and were shown to a lovely table, we ordered an entree and 2 mains, rice and garlic naan. The mains came before the entree, we insisted that the mains return to the kitchen while we waited for the entree, when we cut into the entree it was cold on the inside, we asked for it to be heated through, it came back out absolutely molten lava. The manager then bought out some onion Bhaji as an apology, they were very dark in colour and after one mouthful could taste how burnt they were. We once again spoke to the manager who was very apologetic but our night was already spoilt and we could see no improvement so asked to cancel our mains and we would just pay for our drinks, he was kind enough to not charge us for anything. The whole experience put a very sour take on visiting this once very popular restaurant with us, we used to eat here almost every week.

I visited this restaurant largely on the strength of the reviews but was very disappointed. We ordered a lamb saag and found the meat was mostly of poor quality, being dry, fatty and chewy. The sauce was simple and 1 dimensional, lacking the layers of flavour that you would find in a good curry. The restaurant itself while reasonably clean was a bit faded and funky. It's a bit of a shame because the waiting staff seemed very pleasant but in my opinion this is no way a 4.5 restaurant.

Plesantly greeted, fresh modern decor. Ordered 3 main dishes, rice and naan breads. The flavors of all dishes were very nice, profiles fairly spot on to the origionals. Filtered water offered was nice & spotless cutlery. New area seating was very comfortable & I was particularly impressed with their wait staff. Stand out was the naan breads, crispy & flavorful!

Went there last night with a couple of friends. We had not been there for many years. The service was very good, the food was exceptional and good value, Generous portions and a great variety of food for most tastes, I am not keen on to much spice, this was spot on. Restaurant was clean and nice ambiance. Will return again.

Best Indian Restaurant in Port Adelaide.. If you would like to eat authentic Indian food, try this place. The food is really tasty and value for money. The curries are cooked to perfection. Good ambiance, Mr Clive and his team deliver excellent service. I recommend this place to all my friends.

I eat and cook a lot of Indian and this may not have been the worst I have ever had, but pretty close. We ordered 5 different dishes - when they arrived they were all the same colour and there was very little difference in taste between any of the dishes. The ‘vegetables’ were cheap frozen peas and carrots. The cauliflower dish used frozen cauliflower as well, that was cold and still frozen. There was not a fresh vegetable in any of the dishes. Very disappointing... The positive the vegetable samosas were very good. It was a take away order and they forgot the naan... which after waiting ages wasn’t worth complaining about.

Know the area well but hadn't been before so a good selection of dishes to choose from and helpful and efficient service on a quite busy Sunday pm. Easy parking and a nice atmosphere. Several dishes to share and enjoyed by all the different ages. Fish curry had a lovely sauce for the Naan. 12$ each a BYO bottle.
