La Moka has been supplying me with my morning coffee that gets me through my day since June 2017. Great staff always got a smile for you and will have a joke as well. All I can say get there for some coffee during the week and something to eat the food is excellent. ( La Moka Java Work Repeat ) Then on Friday when you want to wash work away get there order a drink & some food and relax with friends enjoy some great tunes and chill out. This is a great spot I guarantee you will enjoy every minute.

I had to walk in having walked past the day before.
The welcoming facade makes for a wonderful first impression.
You can sit here and watch the world go by.
Your staff are lovely and friendly and coffee and cake were efficiently served and delicious!

Lovely cafe in an unassuming lane way. Loved the decor, very cool moody lighting and chic styling.
Coffee was good, had good alt milk options (bonsoy always a plus for me!). The little fudge bar I tried was really nice also- want to try the custard croissant next time.
Would return.

I’ve been here a few times based on my walking route and sadly the coffee continued to be average. Worst of all, was a big breakfast. It looked amazing, however they must be cooking everything in the kitchen with a cheap oil. There was no taste to anything. Even the toast was tasteless with oil and not butter. I felt a little sickly after it.

I'm waiting for a drink, and the bar manager serves another person before me. I politely asked why, was told I was out of line and refused service. Then I find out the whole bar refuse to serve me. The bar manager was very rude, and she was very aggressive towards me. I felt so embarrassed. However, I did ring the place's manager and made an official complaint against the bar manager. I have no hesitation in exposing the rudeness and arrogance of this place through other social media outlets.

Dear Rock, thanks for the phone call last night at 11.30pm to inform me of the situation. I have apologised and listened to your complaints and treated you with respect. Unfortunately, as I can gather from our security system, during our conversation you forgot to mention that you repeatedly shouted “You’re f….d” to our staff and that your partner (I suppose that was your partner) decided to light up a cigarette inside the bar, which was banned around 16 years ago, less or more.
Other customers witnessed the interaction between yourself and our manager and asked her if she required help or security called to deal with the situation. Unfortunately in this instance I have to stand by our team.

Located in Peel St in the CBD in close range of shopping and entertainment area. Doubles as a cocktail bar at night. Indoor and outdoor seating with upstairs and downstairs. Found the inside quite cosy - it isn’t a big place. Staff were friendly, coffee was quite good and reasonably priced. Will be going back on a regular basis.

Amazing happy hour!
Best aperol spritz in adelaide and also best antipasto (entree)… it seems like we were back in Italy for a while.

Tried Peel Street, was buzzing with people found this little gem just for a cheese plate and a few drinks and before dinner or what ever. If in Adelaide Peel Street is a must, the street has it's own DJ for all the Bars and restaurants.

Visited Adelaide from Melbourne - I make sure to come to La Moka everytime. Good quality soy milk and a great roasted coffee bean. We had the zeppoli donut and almond croissant which were fresh and a good size. Service was prompt and very friendly, can't fault it. Best coffee in town and a must have.

Love sitting upstairs with a view over the cafe and Peel Street. Coffee comes with a biscuit which is nice. Lovely staff and reasonably priced coffee. A lovely nook within Peel Street <3

We had breakfast here and were suitably impressed with the porridge and the great tasting coffee. Lovely little fairly hidden coffee shop in the Adelaide CBD.

Situated in one of Adelaide's best laneways, it's an easy place for an early relaxing breakfast. A good choice of pastries, porridge, mueslis etc. but I didn't have the time to see what others have enjoyed for lunch and dinner.
Did enjoy a cinnamon porridge though.

We stopped in for lunch and the vegetarian lasagna was excellent, as were the veal meatballs. Most enjoyable. The coffee was very good as well.
