Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having moved further away, we now only go to eat in the restaurant so I can't comment on others' takeaway experiences.
I usually order the seafood pizza and they stress this needs to be cooked in the old oven to come out crispy. My partner says her various pasta dishes and specifically lasagne is always very tasty.
Still going strong in new premises seven years after my first review. There are numerous pizza outlets in Adelaide, but this remains one of the best - judging by the nearly-full restaurant later into the week. A bonus is the friendly staff.

Decided to try the new set up of this popular pizzeria
The new restaurant side is considerable larger than the old venue
Restaurant has wood oven pizza . Don’t panic the takeaway is still the old oven as wood oven take away never works
Ordered a pizza and fried calamari
The pizza is the best wood oven pizza I have had . Topping all the way to the edge and crisp all through
Calamari was also delicious and tender
Finished off with tiramisu and custard zeppoli
Both awesome
Wine list is good and well priced
Definitely going back as it’s local

Lotys of traditonal italian food offerings. Busy kitchen, food comes out hot and freshly prepared. We had takeaways but dining in appeared to be a poplular option too. Gluten free pizza base was tasty and would recommend

What's happened to this place? I used to go there every month and the pizzas were always amazing. The last three I've had ( delivered ) have all been rubbish. I ordered a pepperoni last night with three extra toppings. The extra toppings were there but there was only a tiny amount of pepperoni. If I pay extra for extra toppings, I expect extra toppings....not a topping replacement. Also, I'm pretty sure the base was of the generic pre-made variety. They didn't used to be. Lastly.....the pizza arrived with all the toppings having slid over to one side. I realise this isn't the restaurant's fault, but if the driver drops it or whatever, it shouldn't be delivered in that condition. Such a shame. It used to be great.

This used to be the best pizza bar .. consistent quality and the best pizzas .. the last year or so they have moved and the pizzas are just not the same.. the crust and sauce are flavourless, not enough cheese .. .. We used to eagerly anticipate the arrival of our weekly takeaway , now it is disappointment .. so sad as we thought we would be lifelong customers… 🥲

My partner really talked this place up to me, checked out the menu and sounded good. But shouldn’t have ordered the prosciutto pizza, so salty I couldn’t even have a second slice! I did think it was a bit strange that they had olives with the prosciutto, seriously salty and it seemed like the prosciutto had been cooked. Not edible, very disappointing pizza! The margarita was good though!

The pizza is by far the best I ahve eaten. Great selection of traditional pizza's with additional gourmet options on the menu too. Also has great pasta on the menu and specials on the board. Service is always slick and take away is available. Great place.

Been coming here for years.. These guys know what they're doing, running a well-oiled machine. Extremely underrated. There might be better pizza in Adelaide, but I'm yet to taste it!

Picked up a large margarita pizza and was blown away with the friendly customer service I received. Also bought a jar of the famous chillies and was then given a bag of hot fresh chillies to take home and try. Well done guys. Been coming to this pizza bar for years and every time it gets better. Must visit!!

The Spaghetti Aragosta is unquestionably the best pasta ever anywhere. Lobster meat parsley garlic chilli tomato anchovy etc. Wonderful. And an authentic friendly family staff. Hard to beat.

Last customer in...me! Ahem...customer. Staff more concerned about closing up than being on game. Much shouting and yelling as they attended to end of shift. Surveyed price list while waiting for my pizza...must be the Versace of Maryattville judging by prices...even offering lobster ( which does not respond well as a topping as it dries out). Pizza inedible. No care. Won't be back. Big, big ego problem from owners and staff...used to be good when the parents were in charge.

The pizzas at this Marryatville stalwart are not cheap, but they don't skimp on any of the ingredients and whatever you choose is sure to be tasty (judged after 20 or so visits over the years). The staff are always cheerful. It's a good venue to either eat in or have a takeaway.
