We went in for dinner and were "not greeted" buy a male waiter. He pretty much didn't say a thing to us and just took us to the table dropping the menus on the table. No welcome, no hello. He didn't even ask us if we wanted drinks whilst we had a look at the menu. Another waiter came to... More

We went here years ago and we're determined to go back on this visit to Adelaide. Absolutely brilliant experience, we ended up dining here two nights in a row. Great service, friendly staff and nice menu. Food is just delicious. Highly recommend the jugs of margarita :)

Not bad, not awesome, but fine. Don't order the margaritas that come from a premix or similar. I kinda did expect a little more. The food was kinda plain.

Staff were friendly and helpful in choosing the dishes. Service was very good and the atmosphere was very Mexican 😊

Having been an occasional diner at Zapata for over 30 years. It was nice to see that they HAVE lifted their game considerably and returned to quality food and good service which they WERE renowned for. The serves were generous, Nachos Supreme enough for 4 to share as entree. The main courses were equally as pleasing. We will go back.

Visiting early on a Monday evening, the welcome was warm and friendly. The nachos supreme was tremendous, and we were both glad we ordered entrees for our main meal after. A very nice dining experience.

Been here a few times with my family including my little grandson. Also made to feel welcome. Relaxed atmosphere, good food. Consistent standard. Always enjoy what we order including the sangria.

When I first visited this restaurant some years ago, I thought it was good Mexican food. However, I returned a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. The service was slow and unfriendly and the food was quite simply bland. There is a fairly good selection of Mexican beers and I must say that the Mexican decor is excellent. However,... More

Zapata's: Once the king, now the clown. But what makes their fall from their once un-assailable throne for 'best-Mex in Adelaide', is that they seem not to care? Commercial chips and taco shells you can buy from your local Coles; under-cooked beef in the Chili Colorado; Tabasco Sauce as their table hot sauce; canned sauces and salsas, it just seems... More
