We reserved a table on Saturday night. All good .It was very popular and just a little noisy but the food and service made up for it. The service was really excellent. How they worked out 10 separate bills beats me but it did not worry them. Nice to find a place that will split bills. The food was really... More

We stopped in for a drink and an early dinner. The menu looked fantastic, a huge choice. We ordered our meals and when they arrived they looked fabulous and were absolutely delicious. Decoratedly with wooden floorboards, great looking bar. We ate in the bar but there is restaurant area also.

I was on a business trip to Adelaide. My colleagues and I went to the pub and had Monday special deals meal and we were very impressed with the quality of food. I had the original burger with chips and did not expect the size of the burger, it was huge and a lot of tasty ingredients in it. The... More

The food is good pub food at moderate prices, with large servings. Ambience is best in the dining room, but bookings are always needed. Even the bistro area is busy most nights and bookings are essential for Fridays and Saturdays. The daily specials (good value – eg $10 schnitzels on Thursdays) are supposedly only available in the bar, which has... More

We went to Coopers Ale House for Sunday night dinner. The meals were supersize and if you are a small eater I would advise you to share a meal. There were 6 in our group and everyone was happy with there meal. You were able to get a doggie bag totake the left overs home. This is a busy place... More

My hubby and I had dinner and drinks and it was disappointing. The service was friendly and efficient, drinks were nice and typically priced. I had the Kangaroo and it was over cooked and there was so much pepper on the dish I couldn't finish it. Hubby had the Wagyu surf & turf, beef was nice as well as sauce... More

Visiting Adelaide with 2 other couples over the long weekend. Was only a short walk from our hotel (Sage). When we arrived the pubs main eating areas were full, but was advised that we could order our meals about a 30 minute wait due to how busy they were and have them in the bar area of the pub. Went... great portions, kangaroo was a little cold, one table received all their food at the same time, some tables takes over 5 mins for all food to arrive, so maybe ask for it all to arrive at the same time, only issue is some will come cool, not too long a delay for food to arrive, great atmosphere. pulled pork... We went here after a recommendation from a local. Yes it's a bit out of town but not too far. The atmosphere is great, generally buzzing with loads of people in the pub and bistro. Meals are a bit slow coming but nothing to complain about, as I said it was busy. Food is great tasting and the portions are... More
