I love the Oxford! The staff were so friendly and attentive! The love letter cocktail is a must try - and the food is great prices and sizes. Overall as a group we weren’t rushed to leave and spent the night enjoying food and drinks...:)More

Sensational food and service at the Oxford. The bibimbap was delicious and more than I could eat. Very unusual! A very relaxed and congenial atmosphere for a family gathering.

We came as a family table of 11 last Sunday night staff attentive to drinks & food ordering but after that this was the end of their service the empty plates sat on the table for 27 min until I took them all and placed...them on another table we were never asked if we wanted anything thing more even asking the male staff member if we could pay was a chore his attitude was alittle of we were inconveniencing him not at all hospitality dedicated to the business it’s been years since visiting North Adelaide and the Oxford Tavern was always part of my youth so I was alittle disappointed- my last issue is the long table that we sat at the menus were stuck to the filthy sticky table and when we had to hand them back to the waitress we had abit of trouble perhaps fixing the table and training the staff to be alittle more hospitable while earning their money in a new COVID world that we live in everyone should be thankful to have a job not treating paying customers with snootinessMore

I had the Beef Parmi and my wife had the bibimbap. Yes, bibimbap at a pub!! Both were really delicious, good size servings and reasonably priced - about $50 for two meals. Would definitely recommend.

Dropped in for a drink and some sliders. The sliders were yum, the service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was nice and not too busy or too quiet for a week night. Music was decent. Will be back for sure!

In Adelaide there are churches and pubs. This was my first one, and it was good. Told it's an independent run, decor is a bit funky. The place seems very popular. Tables and bar full of patrons Menu offered a lot of choices. Service was...friendly and food was okay.More

Every time we come to our favourite city, Adelaide, we come to the Oxford for a meal on our first night. We used to get here at 4:30 for happy hour and have a little flutter on the pokies and have a couple of drinks...then dinner. This time we decided to skip dinner so we settled the tab we had opened and found that "happy hour is only $1:00 off selected drinks and the Asahi beer, which I ordered two of, is not included in the" Happy hour" What a big have. Only $1:00 off is bad enough but to some beers without being told they are not part of happy hour is, I think, a rip off. We have been coming to the Oxford for years on our visits from Mildura but from now on we will go somewhere else. I think, because of all the new faces, there has been a change of management. If this is the case maybe you need to rethink the definition of Happy Hour. We won't be back.More

I’ve been here many times and will continue to do so. I have never had a bad meal or cocktail from here. The staff are always friendly and service is fast.

A busy pub, a little on the noisy side. Service was good and quite relaxed. The steak was amazing as was the mash it sat on, cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. Only down-side was it could have done with some extra veggies.
