Salt and pepper squid is $10 unless ordered at lunchtime when it is $15 with a wine or small beer. In the end it cost $48 for three Sand P squid with a pint of Guinness. Does this mean the Guinness cost $18 a pint? The Guinness was good and the squid also.

Hi Gerry, How are you? I apologize for any confusion you had with the lunch special we offer. To clarify, the entree serve of S & P squid for $10 comes just on it's own whereas the lunch special comes is accompanied with chips and salad and then your choice of a 1/2 pint, house wine or soft drink. I... More

Stopped in for Happy Hour and had some quick pub food and a couple of pints. Happy hour started at 5pm and the beers were half price. Bar pizzas were $7 and the bar keep was very attentive and friendly. Not a bad place if you are from out of town and want to catch a game and have a... More

Went there with some friends for lunch. Had the house burger. Not very good, the brioche was stale and cold. The Angus meat patty wasn't that great either, it definitely had something else in it. Not just meat (may be too much of it). Can't complain about the location or the Guinness though. If you decide to go there. Make... More

I have always enjoyed my visits to PJ's in Adelaide, as it never fails to deliver on great atmosphere with friendly and knowledgable service. One day in particular to try out is Sunday Afternoons. They have Irish dancers, live Irish music, and great Irish food and beers on special.

With pub prices always rising, it's good to see one that still offers great deals. Happy Hour every Friday arvo with $5 pints (proper pints) and great food deals. The pub has a warm feeling that reflects a genuine irish pub. Definitely recommend.

Walked in on a quiet afternoon and was studiously ignored by the barman busy chatting to the young waitress. When he eventually came, he was clearly unimpressed that I wanted service and a drink. When I asked for a menu he walked away and told me to take one from a table. After waiting again for him to stop talking... More

I am not a great fan of Irish-themed pubs, but as far as it goes this place is fine. The food isnt bad- and it is a good venue-particularly during the Fringe

No one expects silver service but I walked in and stood at the bar long enough while the bartender chatted to a mate without acknowledging me. So I just walked straight back out.

What can I say it's pj O'Brien's it's the place to go for a drink with a few mates. Good Irish pub, cheap meals and good place to go for a game of pool.

PJ's is a great value pub - both drinks and food are well priced, especially in happy hour. Rad atmosphere is a bonus.
