Not a large place, but deservedly busy at nights - quieter during the weekdays at lunchtime. Authentic freshly cooked lamb, chicken skewers on the BBQ grill with accompanying salad, dips/sauces and bread. Other meals such as eggplant; meatballs also available. Turkish sparkling mineral water in...blue bottles is great, and their tea is delicious. We struggle to finish our meals, but we do so because they are so delicious. They are not money-hungry people - serves are generous and prices very reasonable - they deserve every success. They have also installed a toilet for the disabled complete with push-button doors. Very good of them.More

We took my elderly mother out for dinner tonight and thought we’d try this place as we enjoy that cuisine. As there were 5 of us the wait staff put two tables together where we arrived and we sat down to order. We ordered our...meals and were waiting when the waitress approached us and said we couldn’t put the tables together. I explained that we didn’t, their staff had done that when we arrived. She left and a few minutes later she returned to inform us that the Manager (spineless) had told her to let us know we hadn’t ordered enough food to justify 2 tables. The fact that he didn’t have the spine to come over and talk to us instead of sending a young waitress is pathetic. Also, I’m not sure where it is written that you have to spend a minimum amount if you dine in and had ordered a few things. To be treated in such a poor manner as we simply walked in and asked to be seated and they chose the configuration is also pathetic. We will never step foot in this place again as their customer service is -15 stars. They did give us our money back so that’s the only positive thing I can say about this place.More

Went with the lad. He ordered the chicken yiros and chips. I ordered the yiros meat salad and pitta and some dips. Massive meal and scrumptious ! Next time going to try kebabs and meatballs. Reasonable pricing and busy inside and via UBER. Will be...back as good feed and freshly made. Only complaint when ordered as my daughter could not come so ordered at time of ordering a falafel yiros. Sadly they forgot and took a while to make this as we were ready to go.More

I had the lamb Yiros. Husband had the felafel plate. They were both tasteless. Very noisy and lots of flies. I won’t be back.

Saray's is a great spot to pop into for a meal or takeaway. We were there for lunch with a group of friend having a catch up. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and it actually got very busy so we were lucky to get...a table. Its a small place but we sat in a booth where six persons comfortably fitted and with enough elbow room. Now this a a place where grilled meats are their specialty - we ordered charcoal grilled chicken and lamb. They were huge portions served with salad, rice and dipping sauce. The meat was moist and tender and so tasty. We then ordered coffee and baklava and it was very traditional in taste - not dry like some middle eastern pastries. The meal cost around $18 per person. The staff were friendly enough and we didn't wait that long for our meals. Parking was a little hard. Overall a nice cafe for a good feed of grilled meats.More

This place is awesome. Went there for a mixed grill... bit were informed we’d have to wait 45 mins. I think it’s great they tell you... so instead we ordered a open chicken yiros and a combo one. Absolutely delicious... they don’t serve booze and...have free water. Great...as normally our drinks bill is more than the food. Family friendly, fresh, well priced and ultra tastyMore

I had lunch with family there. I would recommend not to eat in during the hot weather. As they are open kitchen and you can't feel the air-conditioning. Not really enjoyable even though the food is good.

This was our third third visit to Saray. First time service was poor but the food was good, Second time we arrived later, around 8:30 and were told that many meals were no longer available. Disappointed, but fair enough we thought as we left to...eat elsewhere. Keen not to make the same mistake, this time we arrived at 7.30pm. Restaurant was quite busy as we were eventually shown to our table. Some minutes later we realized menus were at counter. It would have been nice to be told but ok we eventually worked it out. After deciding on what we wanted I went back to counter to order. It took some time before I could get anyone's attention. Well ok, place is busy. Was then told they'd run out of all rotisserie meat, the main ingredient in most of their dishes. At 7.45pm? Yes run out of all meat. Might of been a good idea to let us know when we first arrived and sat down, instead of saying nothing and completely wasting our time. Once again had to leave hungry and disappointed. Probably wont be back. This could be a truly great little cafe/restaurant if the owners/cooks learn some organizational skills and provide staff with just some basic customer-service training.More
