Please don’t waste your Time and energy…….. Food very poor, average service from a table of Eleven people. Spoke to Tony serving behind the counter somewhat apologetic , lip service……..ordered dishes bland cold, tasteless and sloppy. Giving one star to muchMore

This restaurant was close to our accommodation. Very easy to order food which was surprisingly quick to come to our table considering how busy they were. Very good food at a very reasonable price. Service was great.

Went for dinner which turned out to be entree main and dessert. That wasn’t the intent at the start of the night but the food and service were so good that we couldn’t resist. Amazing entrees - maybe a bit on the large size -...but that is probably being picky ! Amazing steak for main and really yummy desserts. Staff incredible. Very attentive and polite. Went for dinner upstairs on a Friday night, good happy hour prices and good service. Downstairs was frantic and just too noisy. Ordered 2 steaks at $50 each, and then had to pay for the sauces ($4), and the sides ($10), so total $64 each,...with not as much as a dinner roll in sight. It is far from fine dining. Entrees all around $20 each. Online menu does not reflect current prices, and should be updated. Unlikely to eat there again, good food, good location,but overpriced, and not good value for money.More

I spent 6 nights in the Holiday Inn Express, with a 2 minute walk to The Strathmore. 4 nights I dined there. Staff very friendly and efficient. New cafe manager Jason very obliging. Food excellent value for money. A warm atmosphere on cold winter nights....Great big screen to watch Matilda’s World Cup games. All in all thoroughly recommend. I dined by myself and enjoyed the safe friendly Strathmore.More

Obviously a popular lunch place, but we came early and had no problems getting a table. The waiter was smiling and took good care of us, even the gluten allergic. Nice premises. Very good food!

Booked dinner prior to going to the State of Origin. Place was packed as you would expect given close proximity to the oval. We joined the line with the waitress seating us within a minute which was an absolute credit the the staff given there...would have been a couple of hundred if not more in the place. Decided on the snitchzle to save time which was more then plentiful and came out reasonably quickly.More

Happened to be at the Strathmore on a Thursday for Stonegrill steak. Was one of the best I have had in a long time. Never had a stonegrill experience before and it was amazing. Steak arrived raw and you cook it on the stone grill...to your liking. I want mine rare so it was up to me! Found that it was easy to manage...just cut it in strips and heat for seconds on the stone and voila....perfect steak. Put the chips on the stone and had continuous hot chips! A winner all round. Would def recommend....and will return! Thanks RebeccaMore

We have been going to the Strathmore for years, but never again. Did not expect such a big crowd, extremely noisy. Tables packed in tight together to fit in more customers. Food was good, a good salad as it was more than just lettuce, nice...surprise. Charged $13 for a glass of ginger beer, what the.... Next time we meet we will find a place where we can talk and hear one another.More

Steak dinner ( recommended by a local) I had 250g scotch fillet with fried baby cos lettuce Sensational, what more can I say I was early evening (5:30 pm) seated. Straight away ( I had no booking). Service excellent, food excellent. Afagatto for dessert perfect....Come back again, with out a doubt.More

we had struggled to find somewhere for after work drinks but nothing was too much bother for these guys. they sat us in a great location, even when more people turned up than expected. drinks were very reasonably priced and the food came out quickly
