This was truthfully one of the best lunches I have ever had. We went here to celebrate my birthday and we had a vegan, two pescatarians and a gluten intolerant in our party. Even though we got the banquet, they were able to accommodate everyone...in our party, and not one single guest missed out even slightly. The service was also wonderful and attentive. This was our first time to Estia and it will definitely not be our last. Everyone loved it 😊More
We been there for a dinner with 6 people yesterday night. All of us where impressed about the quality of the food and the excellent service of the entire team. It was a fantastic Greek food event for all so us.
We ordere Lamm, squid,...octopus, meet balls, chicken and fish.
We certainly will come again and this Greek restaurant will be our standardMore
Average with a capital A.
Went here on the strength of a recommendation from our hotel and TA reviews.
Really really ordinary. Calamari entree tough.
Whitebait overcooked and over-salted. Also had a mystifying garnish of pineapple.
Scallops rubbery and stuck to the shell.
Mains -...prawn saganaki - prawns ok but sauce like tomato paste with way too much feta.
Other main - lamb stew - very hearty serve and tender but after one mouthful it was hard to go back for more.
Told the staff after each course that it was very ordinary (at least they asked) and even though they took away uneaten meals they still charged full price - ok but with $36 corkage charged they could have discounted this but you know what? They didn’t.
They pegged us as tourists who wouldn’t come back and they’re right.
I said to the young fellow who sounded like he was from England (he called it an Adelaide accent) that I thought the Greeks were famous for service but I was wrong.
He just shrugged his shoulders and scanned my credit card.
If you’re seated outside and you’re tall or have long legs or have a bad back don’t do it. Very uncomfortable
Actually don’t go here unless you have low standards.More

I could waste half an hour of my life responding to this review, but I’ll only waste 5 minutes.
I’ll say this, we served 308 people exactly the same food with exactly the same friendly efficient professional service on Saturday.
306 with low standards...More
The first time I went to Estia was in the 90s the second was in the 2000s and I had always enjoyed my dining experience. So, suggesting we have our Dad’s 90th b’day lunch there was a no brainer...and
we weren’t disappointed! It was exactly...as I’d remembered; a warm, inviting Greek restaurant with exceptional service and great food. The staff were so helpful and they went above and beyond to ensure the lunch was a success. Efharisto!More
My wife and I were walking along the beach on Saturday of the long weekend and just after 12pm found ourselves at Henley Beach. With people everywhere our hopes of a table anywhere were low; however as we neared Estia the waitress approached to say...we could have a table for two as long as we didnt mind sitting inside.
We are so glad we did!
Food, wine and the service were all Excellent. Even the coffee at the end could not be faulted.
Will definitely be back.More
Perhaps I could be forgiven for expecting authentic Greek cuisine at a Greek restaurant although the names of the dishes on the menu did lip service to Greek food, that is where the comparison stopped. Marinated lamb tasted like something a shearers cook would do,...Pizza bread was made with something like scone dough and almost as thick. Chips, which Greek restaurants are usually famous for were (I think) McCains frozen French fries similar to McDonalds. Naturally being a Greek restaurant they do not do Yiros???. Meat balls were tasteless. Clean skin cheap red at 28.00 was just drinkable. I discovered (not to my surprise), the chef is not Greek)More
Our family have been coming here for over 20 years! Food is always consistently beautiful and generous. The location is wonderful… Greek food by the sea, what more could you ask for? Over the years we have tried almost every dish on the menu, and...everything is full of flavour and cooked to perfection - every time we venture to the restaurant. If you’ve never tried this restaurant , jump on board the traditional Greek food, with family and friends... and enjoy! We recently visited on the weekend and everything was up to standard, we love the big Greek salad, dips (skordalia yumm!! ) with warm pita , kolokithi; zucchini croquettes, mousaka .. and saganaki fried cheese with lemon/olive oil, is out of this world. My family also love the chargrilled chicken with olive oil/ oregano, and various seafood dishes.
Please leave room for the in-house deserts, we are in love with the loukoumathes; Greek honey puffs with syrup and cinnamon, OMG they are so good. This Restaurant is a real winner with our family. We often celebrate birthdays in this restaurant. Great wine list, or BYO. We will always keep coming back for the best Greek feast!More
