Had late breakfast of eggs on sourdough toast. Simple but vey good. Wife had waffle and declined normal additions of whipped cream and ice cream. After ordering server offered strawberries as an option. Was well received.
The place overlooks the Rundle mall.

Needed some brunch and a good coffee … both provided by happy staff . Avo on toast with egg was delicious. This cafe is upstairs on the Terrace Dining .I sat overlooking Rundle Mall floor to ceiling windows watching below while enjoying some quiet peace. Beats the over crowded food courts .

Visited today for lunch with my young daughter . I would’ve liked them to have a kids menu or at least an option to make some of the meals kid sized. When I asked to make a chicken salad for her (which is what she wanted) ,in a small serving, the only thing they could offer me was basically crumbed chicken tenderloins and chips (no salad). On the other hand I had a lovely falafel wrap.
Coffee was average. There are lots of other amazing coffee places in Adelaide that I would go to first.

Had the worse experience ever today. Ordered Beef Ham Toastie, took order then 20 minutes late came over and said no ham, this was 1.15pm lunch time, This is actually the second time this has happened in the same time slot. Crazy. Then gave $4 loose change back, not even EFTPOS refund, is this a scam! The waiter was rude and almost laughing when he said this, cheeky grin on his face. Kept saying Dorry Dorry!. No interpersonal skills. What sort of place has toasted ham and cheese sandwich on the menu and no ham in stock. The fact that this has happened twice now tells me it is a scam. Took order, kitchen is open 1m away from serving desk, Zero communication among staff. Crazy place , will not return.
P.S. Have noticed the menu on line is much less expensive than when you go there , like eggs bene online $19 , go there $24

Visited today for bite of lunch. Ordered the pulled beef wrap without the relish (as didn't want wrap to be too moist). Wrap arrived, beef had some type of gravy with it which made the wrap soggy and welded itself to the newspaper it was served in.
Totally inedible and waste of money.

On our recent holiday visit to Adelaide we found this cafe, almost by accident, while exploring Rundle Mall. The service was courteous, helpful and friendly. What made it an even better experience was the fact that when I enquired if there was anything gluten free available I was informed that there was. This turned out to be some delicious chocolate cookies. As we were sitting at the table a staff member came to us and asked if everything was alright, which it was.
For a chance find this was a wonderful little cafe. Highly recommended.

Came here based on the ratings. In hindsight I should have gone to the more poorly rated cafe downstairs. Everything on the menu looked overpriced for what it was. My croissant was very average. The worst part was they didn’t even have bacon. They have some weird beef ham which was not nice. It ruined my morning.

We visited this friendly welcoming cafe and had a really good salad and avocado toast and poached egg. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was good. I left some of my greens and the manager came across to check if the food was OK - I really appreciated that he had taken the time to check if the quality of the food was Ok. What a lovely place it is for lunch with a good varied menu and nice food

Lovely, quiet view over the mall upstairs next to H & M. Ordered 2 coffees and a "ham" and cheese croissant. However I was told it was not ham but beef ham!! I could not tell the difference . It was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly.

Great location and view.
Poached eggs came out as hard boiled.
Hot chocolate took one hour to come after 3 requests.
Very overpriced.

Both mum and I each enjoyed a freshly toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a fresh side salad. Great coffee was also ordered. The toasties were very filling and the toast was crispy.

This may be a good cafe in Adelaide, but coming from Melbourne, it is a garbage. Prepare for microwaved bacon and eggs, toast that isn’t toasted and average coffee at best. Steer clear.
