Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had been to an early show at the Fringe and looking for table in crowded Rundle Street we came across the Sicily and were quickly seated. It was a nice location, we received very good service and enjoyed the three pizzas that the four of us shared. We finished with coffees for two and affogatos for the others. The coffees were good, while the consensus was that the affogatos needed more liquor them.

Pizza to me is usually fairly boring awash with tomato, cheap cheese and indifferent base with a few tired toppings. However this was one of the best Pizza’s I have had. Don’t miss it, great service, friendly, clean.

Atmosphere is terrible. There are so many tables crammed into the restaurant it's hard to move without tripping over them. During our visit one of the side windows was open to allow a table to go from inside to outside - normally fine, but given how windy it was, not pleasant. On the plus side - absolutely first grade pizza. Great stuff, no complaints at all. Service was meh. Requested to take away the left overs which were folded and shoved into a take away container. If I wanted a calzone I would have ordered one, cheers. Oh, and the public holiday surcharge is 15% according to the bill, not the 10% on the menu. Sigh. Good as the pizza was, it's hard to recommend it over many other better options in Adelaide.

Came here for dinner with a girl friend, unfortunately they didn’t have any moscato as they said they ran out last week (it was Thursday so it was odd that they didn’t have any still). Aside from this minor issue, the service was friendly and genuine. The pizza was absolutely beautiful and so so fresh and delicious. Would be nice if garlic bread had cheese in it. Menu could be difficult to comprehend for some people and is slightly limited, but still good variety overall.

Stopped here prior to seeing a fringe show and received great service and great food. The place was busy, but that didnt stop delicious from being served. For a table of four we share 2 entrees and 2 pizzas and that was enough food. The pizzas were thin crust with fresh ingredients. My fav was the capricciosa, perfect.

Ate at this restaurant with another couple whilst visiting Adelaide from Sydney. In short, this place serves real Italian pizza with real Italian ingredients. I visit Italy regularly and am a tough critic of Italian pizza...this place is the real deal. By the way, try their Sicilian beer....a top lager to accompany the pizza.

Management need to do a major clean out. The staff here are having lend and costing the owners dearly. Was like being g served by a bunch of petulant teenagers who were serving tables as part of their High school detention.

Pizza was good but - as others have said - the service appalling. As well the acoustics make it almost impossible to have a conversation. Asked staff to turn music down twice, but they ignored courteous request. We wont be back

Last minute booking - Christina secured a table and as the menu was handed to us she even changed the music to my favorite Dean Martin album. NOW it just does not get much better than that. (Food pretty good too)

We booked 2 weeks in advance for 8pm. At 8.45 still waiting for a table. Rubbish service with the waiter arguing with us. Left in disgust and straight across the to the Lemingrass Thai restaurant. Fantastic service and food.

Walk in, busy but got table in 5 minutes. Drinks and order without delay. Food prompt and perfect. Almost quicker than a New York restaurant and they are quick. Really good restaurant and the food was superb.

Waited 40mins but staff too busy to take our order...so we left. We let them know we were waiting too, but it didn't make a difference. I'm sure the food is lovely if you get to order it. We won't go back.

I had a quick lunch. Very good vegetarian pizza with eggplant and muchrooms. Nice decor. Friendly service. Certainly worth a try if you are in the east end of Rundle Street
