Beautiful food. We had the Mrs Q feed me menu which proved great value, 2 x entrees which were Peking Duck pancakes (hubby devoured them) and prawn dumplings in green curry sauce (amazing!!). Three mains were served, a Pad Thai, Massaman beef cheeks curry and a prawn and green beans dish, we shared the prawn dish and took the other 2 home - be warned, they are BIG main serves. Very tasty prawn dish. A steamed rice accompanied these dishes. Son ate the curry tonight and raved about the flavour and amount of beef there was. He wants to accompany us next time we visit...The Pad Thai was very fresh tasting and flavoursome. A shared dessert finished the meal nicely (chocolate - what’s not to love). The feed me menu represents good value for money. Service is spot-on and discreet (always filling water glasses). It’s been a while since we visited Mrs Q, will not wait as long next time).

Booked an interstate dinner venue for 45 colleagues. Justin was fantastic with responding to my queries and assisting with dietaries, even catering to the more difficult palettes with separate meals instead of eating from the shared platters to ensure everyone got fed. Very reasonably priced, we opted for a shared menu at Chef's selection and feedback from colleagues was excellent, "... the vegetarian food was delish!", "it was lovely", "venue last night was excellent!". With only a short timeframe to arrange the dinner, Justin was very responsive to my emails and flexible with the booking to allow us to cater to our large group. I would definitely look to book at Mrs Q again!

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, creative dishes. Staff very friendly, though restaurant was quite busy/noisy so it did take a while for food to arrive - understandable given it was a Saturday night! The dessert roti has to be one of our favourite dishes in Adelaide. Do yourselves a favour

(Saturday Night 5th Oct) PSA: Begrudging negative review We have loved Mrs Q in the past, however, this experience was not up to the standard we expect, sadly and felt leaving a neg review was warranted. When we entered, service communication was poor right away. We weren't really greeted and everything felt rushed/chaotic (they were busy for sure) but there was no eye contact and we were hurried to our seats. We had 3 separate staff come by without a meaningful personalised interaction. Our options for the feed me meal were also not even discussed, like's and dislikes etc., (we would have actually paid the higher amount had we been given a rough idea of the food selection.) A blind banquet is not something we wanted and in the past the server quickly made us aware of all our options. All that aside, we understand that sometimes things can go off the rails so we happily waited for the Mrs Q trademark colours and freshness we have enjoyed over the years. Ok, long story short, the food was actually really poor. Pretty quickly, my wife and I both remarked that the spring rolls and deep fried chicken were heavy, oily and flavourless. Two beige deep fried dishes as entrees was not exactly great and we assumed it was a mistake. Again, we thought it was a bad start, and the mains would be better... The prawns arrived, looking great with green beans and veg along with a Beef curry and fried rice. (small gripe, my wife doesn't like the curry and had we been told, we would have upgraded to another option) The prawns were chewy, flavourless, and the beans were dry and tasted like they had been reheated, not fresh. The beef curry, while flavoursome, had what tasted like minute steak not the usual chunks of beef that melt in your mouth. The fried rice was nice but we were wondering why we were given a bowl of rice and fried rice in the same salvo of mains? The experience was pretty jarring from what we normally expect and we actually mentioned it to the server who kinda shrugged it off, which made us think that this may be common feedback. Ultimately, we did not finish any of our dishes and we rushed to get the bill - $175 later. We love Mrs Q, which is why this is so hard to write, but straight feedback is hopefully valued especially as we don't have date night too often anymore. I'm not sure we will return

I was 8 minutes late for my booking and they had already given my table away without trying to contacting me, I then had to wait another 20 minutes to be given a table, only for them to decide then that it was too difficult to give us a nice table within the restaurant so instead they shoved us on a table that had been vacant since I arrived that was against a countertop that had grimy food bits and dust all along it and was in the far counter blocked by the bars privacy screen that there was absolutely no atmosphere. The duck pancakes as an entree was good but the fried chicken entree was bland and the sauce was tasteless, was a waste of $18. Got the squid mains and it was so spicy you couldn’t taste anything else and the squid was stringy and chewy it was hard to swallow. Also got the pork mains, the flavour was very nice but half of the pork was just fat that had to be cut off and then the remaining pork still had fat all through it so it was chewy. Feel like it has gone downhill since last time I was there in February. All around it was a disappointing restaurant for a $150 meal.

First time in Adelaide. Celebrated 50th birthday. We are all interstate travellers from Qld, NSW and Vic. Choose the venue based on reviews and articles. The food did not disappoint, everyone was full from the banquet. The manager is helpful with last minute changes due to one unexpected vegetarian guest after we ordered.

MrsQ was recommended to us, and we recommend it to anyone we come across! Friends from interstate were (begrudgingly) impressed. The MrsQ menu is varied, wholesome, fresh food, prepared with care and feeds a hungry horde. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the room was an interesting blend of old and new - and Asian. You'll love it, and be sure to order the soft-shell crab.

Exceptional customer service is a hallmark of this establishment, where the staff is not only incredibly attentive but also exudes a friendly demeanour. The culinary offerings surpass expectations with their exceptionally delicious flavours, satisfying our hunger with generous portions. Without fail, this establishment consistently creates an environment that ensures our experience is not just pleasant but also notably relaxing.

We caught up with friends for dinner at Miss Q on Saturday night, booked in for 7pm. The place was packed and a great vibe there, a tad noisy but everyone chatting and smiling and enjoying their meals. We were seated out on the verandah, nice and warm with the heaters going, very friendly and efficient staff and the food was excellent with the feed me menu. One of our party was gluten intolerant and his meal was great, no complaints from him. My ONE gripe was the cost of BYO @25.00 a bottle which I thought was rather expensive for a meal in chinatown, many other restaurants in this precinct are much cheaper for byo - we brought lovely (expensive) aged wines for this special occasion and also bought a bottle of wine from the wine list, wine prices were reasonable. We would be happy to go back for sure.

We were at MrsQs for a 50th birthday dinner on a wet and cold Friday night. Can’t thank the staff enough for making it very special. The service on entry was unhurried and friendly and the staff suggested two areas for our group to choose from. We chose a space on the balcony which was separated into a private area and was cosy and warm with the overhead heaters. Everything flowed smoothly with the staff being unobtrusive but attentive. Food and wine choices were excellent and our guest’s birthday cake arrived with sparklers, a cocktail and lots of smiles and greetings from staff. We had a couple of very young children with us and they were well catered for and made to feel special. All in all a memorable night out at MrsQ!!!

Lovely atmosphere, funky decor. Great food and even better service. Went to the rest room, staff accidentally cleared our table. Upon realising their mistake, every dish was replaced with a complimentary glass of wine each. Can't complain about that..!!! 10/10 will recommend 👌

Went with a group of 11 for the 6-8pm session. Was given a large table with stalls which was great apart from it was near the door out to the balcony which kept being left open so we were blasted by cold air frequently. We had the “feed me” menu which is $65pp for 3 courses. The waiter came and asked our preferences then they choose which dishes to serve.,I requested Vegetarian $45pp,( the only one on the group). I was served 3 spring rolls, followed by tofu green curry & salt & pepper tofu & rice.. the remaining guests had, Peking duck pancakes, followed by a beef dish, a prawn dish, a chicken dish, dumplings, pad Thai & green curry. For dessert we had a pancake type dish My food was delicious, large portions (so big I could only eat half) and the aroma of the other dishes was really nice. The rest of the group really enjoyed all the dishes. When 8pm came we weren’t asked to leave, so stayed for a few drinks. The place was buzzing, full and a great atmosphere. At 8pm

We chose the vegetarian feed me menu, which we asked to be vegan. The food was amazing, with so many different flavours and so much food, the dishes just keep coming out. The service is excellent, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend for a good time with great food!! We enjoyed the ‘Feed me’ Mr. Q with the chef choosing what we will have for a 2-course meal. We had 5 dishes in total to share between 2 people, and each dish is simply fantastic. The restaurant has very interesting interior design with the low lighting and historical ambiance. Will come back again!

Disappointed with the service, we booked our table from 6.30pm for 2 hours. Ordered a selection of entrees and mains to share. Were not asked if we wanted desserts, more drinks or even tea or coffees. Were given our bill with 40 minutes left of our 2 hour sitting and told that they needed our table.. Ended up going to another establishment for dessert and coffee... Would nit recommend for a birthday celebration, as they rush you and not a great dining experience...
