Outstanding, original food , great service and location. Entrees grilled octopus, sze prawns succulent fresh delicious. My roast lamb was melt in the mouth. The desserts a must. Terrific value for money.

Great food with nice service. The starters are all very delicious. The main dishes, we had fishand beef, been perfectly cooked and tasted very fresh. The dessert was fruity and yummy. We went twice here, because it’s been so good. We will come back!

Ordered two plant based mains and left extremely dissatisfied. For what we paid the minuscule plate of vegetables served to us were suboptimal to say the least. I understand this restaurant is one of Townsville’s fine dining restaurants, but the food served was definitely not...at this standard. To serve small portions the food has to tick all the boxes and unfortunately the flavours were not there. Not sure what the regular mains are like but definitely would not recommend this restaurant to a vegetarian or vegan. I’d suggest increasing the size of the meals and try to incorporate some substance or source of carbohydrate. I personally didn’t feel like I had eaten anything after leaving this restaurant as I was still hungry.More

When the booking app asks you to choose and you select "indoors" you do not expect in the Townsville climate to be seated inside but adjacent to wide open double doors. Waiter who took our orders and said "I will be looking after you" was...not seen again (at our table) Meals were not served as ordered. Having finished, asked for and received bill, it took 20 minutes to get someone to process our payment.More

I loved this restaurant. Sitting outside by the river, on a balmy evening, this was a good start to what was to come. We ordered 3 of the entrees, which are smaller than their starters. Kangaroo, which was very thinly sliced, and cooked rare, a...damper with a pumpkin puree, and prawns, there were lovely flavours in all 3 dishes. We both ordered the lamb, which was on an Indian spiced Dahl, accompanied by broccollini and tofu, this too was beautifully flavoured. I very rarely have dessert, but the waitress managed to persuade us to try the chocolate panna cotta, and she was right, it was amazing. Next time I am in Townsville, I'll definitely come back here.More

Our sixth visit in the past two years. Our first three meals were excellent. Visit number four one year ago (Dec 2021) was a huge disappointment. My wife ordered the lamb and it was subpar. In Oct 2022 we had a top notch meal, by...far the best we have had at this restaurant - excellent in all aspects. My wife had the duck and I had the ribeye. Tonight's visit was another big disappointment, especially after our last visit. My wife ordered the lamb, despite my warning about her previous experience with the lamb main, and it was greasy and largely inedible. Her lamb, my ribeye, and our side were drenched in oil. Second visit here while in the area, and so impressed with the food and setting. We sat outside near the water, on a beautiful evening. The menu is varied and everything we ordered was excellent. The damper bread to start is amazing but every dish...lived up to expectations, although we did feel a bit overstuffed by the end (our own fault). A really great dining experience.More
