Delicious food, great service and wonderful entertainment! My first time visiting a teppanyaki restaurant and this didn't disappoint. The food was so delicious, and the way it is cooked in front of you, and the little fun tricks etc is really 2nd to none. Such...great place to eat and have fun.More

Great vibe, a lot of fun. The team were great. It would be good to put people without kids on other couples tables. We were disappointed having the imperial banquet and cherry blossom was definitely not worth the value

Hubby and I arrived early so were taken to a waiting area and ordered drinks. We didn’t wait long before being taken to our table. We were seated with a family, which we didn’t mind. Having not been to a Teppanyaki before we weren’t sure...what to expect, but OMG, what an amazing experience! The front of house, chef, waiters and food were amazing and we had so much fun!More

Have to book in advance. You get seated at a U-shaped table that seats 6 or 7 people comfortably. If you have 4 or fewer, the restaurant will put a random couple (or more) at your table. A good way to make new friends! Be...careful when ordering - there is a temptation (and some pressure) to order a lot of food. Just get the Teppanyaki and the kids will be fine with the kids menu. All food is barbecued more-or-less together, anyway, so you can share the food easily enough (unless you are sharing your table with a random couple!) The chefs are energetic and entertaining, but the entertainment is noisy and you may have another table next to yours that is joining in the enthusiasm. Good for a family or friends group who don't mind a raucous setting, but certainly NOT for intimate fine dining!More

Wow! I've had the pleasure of some amazing tepinyaki experiences and after a recommendation here I was excited to go and take my son for his first try... Booked on the day, lucky there was availability and the gentleman on the phone was lovely and...said they would make it special which immediately made me feel welcome. We arrived a little early and the bar at entrance is cozy with a great atmosphere. The bartender had a good knowledge of the cocktails and helped me select one, my son ordered a cocktail, we sat in the lounge area and they were promptly delivered and delicious. When ushered to our dinner seats I was a bit blown away, it's a massive venue, the energy coming off all the tables was electric in all their various stages of dining. I'm devastated I can't remember the name of our waiter, he was lovely and prompt and also helped me select another cocktail and sake tasting from the drink menu. I really liked the mobile music on each chef's trolley, made for a great sing-along atmosphere... I got up and did the macerena with him lol, everyone else was shy. Our chef was Perry, he delivered the perfect balance of humour, cooking skills, shared attention with the 3 groups at our table, and cooked all the food to absolute perfection. My son, who initially didn't want to come, saying he doesn't like Japanese food, had the time of his life and ate everything. I honestly couldn't fault anything with the experience, on the high end of price but to be expected and value was completely with it. Thanks for making part of our special trip away together so amazing crew! 💕More

I always love Misono, the food and experience is fantastic. This time though on Valentine’s Day was a little disappointing. I chose the menu that included a variety of seafood including Moreton bay bug, and just as the chef was preparing I was told there...is no bug so they will substitute it with prawns. I was given no time to reconsider my selection, and honestly if they had no bug they should have advised this before we ordered. Also very disappointing that a restaurant of such standing didn’t have all the required ingredients for Valentine’s Day. If I had been told of the issue up front I would have ordered the lobster/wagyu. Double of one ingredient was too much and devalued the experienceMore

This was my first time at the restaurant, i was accompanied by my friend Maria who suggested the experience to me, the atmosphere was calming and comfortable, the food was tasty and the show of the live cooking in front of us at the table...was amazing the chef was skilled and good at keeping us entertained we ordered the Teppanyaki grills, it was full of different variety of cooked and raw foods that just blended in an amazing way the cost for that meal plus entertainment would cost about $24. The service was fair I would say they chef took time as he prepared though after the show started he was amazing at it, he started with a flames show and began on our meals serving each of us at the same time and with quick finesse, my friend and I enjoyed the meals and loved the scenery we suggest that you try the teppanyaki meal course each has different foods that blend well in one eating, the place was clean and most of all comfortable the restaurant has kind service workers who greet you with a smile as you walk in and accommodate your needs from start to end. lovely restaurant I'm sure I will be back with even more friends.More

This was our first time experiencing teppanyaki & it was really interesting. The atmosphere is pretty intense & exciting. The food was yum & a lot of fun. Unfortunately most of us had a big day & were pretty exhausted, so I apologise to chef...Bryan for not being as enthusiastic as we should have been! I will mention that each guest must purchase a banquet, which are a minimum of $49 or $30 for under 12s. We did not realise this, as we had a fussy teenager that was more there for appearances. We did however understand that the concept is meal & a show, to cover their costs. Table cost must be covered as one, we went as a group & therefore 1 person had to cover the whole $800 table cost, which I felt was a little outdated. Also felt table service for drinks was a little slow. Beautiful experience, at a beautiful location with extremely friendly staff. I am not sure if it is a Misono standard for each table to have a 'birthday', as almost everyone was singing HB. But I did appreciate it, as it was my birthday the next day & made me feel very special. The prawn dishes were so yum & enjoyed the sushi, I appreciate the staff rubber banding my chopsticks together so I could still participate in the authentic experience. Bryan is very entertaining & extremely talented, loads of fun.More

‘Not sure if we came to enjoy a nice meal or to attend a circus performance. While some people most likely came for both, the expected theatrics of the amusing teppanyaki chefs should not distract from the quality and execution of the food. Our two...sets gave us a fairly diverse combination of Wagyu, lobster, scallops, Morten Bay bugs and prawns plus a side of grilled vegetables. While most of the seafood was cooked correctly (the slightly undercooked scallops could use another 10 seconds on the grill), the medium rare request for the steaks turned out more like a medium well. Fortunately the marbling kept the meat still tender enough but Wagyu shouldn’t be toyed with given its premium. The consolation is the vegetables turned out perfectly - crispy with a touch of charring. The desserts were a non event. Credit should be given to the teppanyaki chef who tried his very best to entertain the diners at our table. After all it is a rather competitive arena with the chefs trying to outdo each other to elicit the most laughter and cheers from his guests. But at these prices, I’d rather they focus delivering the food instead of the laughs.More
