We specialise in espresso, cold-brew, nitro coffee and jaffles. This quirky location offers exceptional coffee and quick service. One of my favourite places to go for coffee. Hi he quality of coffee is good and staff are so friendly and nice. The owners, previous and current are super chilled. Regulars, every Friday, get to flip a coin to get a free coffee or pay half price. They also charge 20cents less if you take your own cup, which I love mostly because it makes me feel better about myself doing a little bit for our planet. I definitely recommend this caffe as a place to stop every morning. Their avocado and feta baggies are also pretty good.

We found this little cafe on the second day we stayed in Surfers Paradise. Despite only having a 4 day holiday booked, we went back to Stairwell for a total of 3 times because it was so god damn good. Not only is the coffee excellent (and we are coffee snobs from Brisbane), but the jaffles are tasty, freshly made, warm, comforting and to die for. Each sandwich is served with a side of potato crisps and a pickle, which is just an wonderful little touch to the dish. Each jaffle is accompanied with a specially chosen sauce on the side to enhance the flavour, and the balance of meat to bread and filling ratio is spot on.
Secret menu tip - ask for the “Brother James”. It will blow you away.

Bonsoy and milk lab milk non dairy alternatives available.
Coffee was great - good body and strength, not bitter, served nice and hot.
Small well thought out selection of food - jaffles, bagels, crossaints, banana bread, danishes. We had some banana bread - crisped on the outside, moist on the inside. Hit the spot!
Located in a shopping alley way just past the Hilton, under the stairwell.
Well worth seeking out!

This is a place to go to and appreciate that much can be achieved in a small space - in this small space only needs Great Coffee and some basic food. Stairwell does both in a pleasant friendly manner.
Don't miss going there when visiting Surfers Paradise on The Gold Coast.

Just a little shop tucked away behind the stairs and down a little. We were recommended to go here from another coffee shop, after I asked them for almond milk Haha. Stairwell Coffee has every milk you can think of and normal cows milk. The almond cappuccino was smooth and easy to drink; even without sugar! I will be seeking out this coffee shop daily! Thank you for lovely coffees!!

This store was so cute. The definition of a hidden gem. Great overall service and such friendly staff. Although I haven't personally tried their food I can tell you that their coffee was outstanding and was served within a few minutes of ordering. Who knew a basic latte could be so good?

We live locally and have tried all of the options in and around Surfers. Stairwell coffee is by far the best option for a proper barrister made coffee. It’s tucked down a lane way in the guts of surfers Paradise.
It’s the sort of coffee you’ll find yourself telling people about when asked what were the highlights from your holiday.
It’s worth looking for.

A great rest stop for coffee lovers like me to pick up coffee on the go. The coffee menu is small but sufficient (offers non dairy options as well). Staff friendly too.

Every time I visit Surfers Paradise and I need my coffee boost I go there. Best coffee, treats and customer service. The owner has beautiful energy, he uplifts your day with a coffee, smile and meaningful chats. Keep supporting local!

Really cute coffee shop under the stairs in one of the malls. Food and coffee made us feel like we were home in Melbourne. Staff are super friendly. Very reasonably priced. Take away or sit down at a few tables.

Hidden in walkway under a stairwell!!
Came here 3 times for coffee and 2 times to eat. Coffee good every time, service great, such friendly team that work here. Had the 3 cheese jaffle 1 day and the Spaghetti and cheese the other.. delish!!!!!
