We went there as 2 couples and thought we would have one of the day beds, location is great but the experience left us wanting. The food and drinks ordering system is not what you would call customer friendly, you have this fantastic location but...you have the impersonal experience of using an App. I understand staffing issues but there seemed to be enough, especially when the venue is not large and there was normally 3-4 staff behind the bar. Then the prices are certainly on the high end with drinks and snacks for four people costing $250. This is not this first time there but will be our last.More

We had a great night at Barbados. Setting was so nice and a good atmosphere. The lady looking after us was very efficient and friendly and did such a great job.l. We loved all our food and can't wait to return next trip.

Absolutely sensational wine and cocktails list. I had a Waterfall cocktail which was a house speciality but absolutely fantastic. Views of the Marina and comfortable relaxed dining were a highlight, topped with great ambience and fantastic staff. Meals were lovely. I had the ref fish...cevice which was amazing and quite a large serve. This is definitely one of my favourite spots to dine in Port Douglas and is a must visit.More

Lovely establishment, it’s clear the owner has put a lot of time and money into the venue however that is overshadowed by the disgustingly rude and uncaring attitude from the elderly hostess. I think it really says something when the only other bad reviews on...here mention her. Definitely something the owner should addressMore

After a busy day exploring Cape Tribulation, it was great to put up our feet and watch the sunset with some cocktails. We were lucky enough to have booked early enough that we were able to get a day bed - definitely the best seating...at Barbados. What was going to be a just a couple of cocktails, ended up being cocktails and food. The calamari was delicious.More

This place is always busy, located near the Chinese junk wharf. Lots of daybeds and lots of fans... lovely atmosphere, slightly expensive drinks, great place.

Our table faced the boats/water and it was so relaxing. We had tapas style food & cocktails and really enjoyed it

Had this place recommended and booked online. Strangely every other night was fully booked except the day I was searching so booked a day bed as that was the only option available. Walking in the place has a lovely Hampton’s come Bali lounge bar feel...and a lovely view over the water however I was left standing to wait for my table for a good 10 mins despite having a reservation and there only being about 5 other tables of guests there. We ordered at around 6.35 and was told the ocean shared board was sold out…?! So early in the evening and with very few guests. We ordered an alternative shared plate which was tasty but took over half an hour to arrive which was odd given it was cold meats and veggies served on a board. Maybe they were short staffed, maybe there was an issue in the kitchen? I’m not sure but sadly it gave me a bad impression of what could have been a lovely evening. Recommend for a pre dinner drink only as it has a beautiful outlook and atmosphere.More

Service was great. We had a bottle of champagne which was nice. We then ordered a jug of Pimms which was tasteless. We spoke to the staff and the bar staff really did not care. Had they done something about this we’d have stayed as...the location is great. D went elsewhere insteadMore
