Popular place for breakfast. We were with a large group and they were very accommodating with moving chairs etc. The salmon and avo was delicious and different to the regular breakfast staples you find on most menus. Coffee was good too. We have been here previously and had a long wait for a table so it's probably a good idea to book.

Perfect coffee and yummy fresh juice. Service was friendly and great. The waffles were impeccable with a chai pana cotta and fresh seasonal fruit with a vanilla sauce. Definitely worth a visit when staying in Port Douglas!

Our children wanted waffles and I saw their menu on fb page had $9 waffles for kids. They don’t take bookings but it wasn’t a long wait. When people line up to go here, you know it will be good! We ordered and received friendly and prompt service. The coffee was delicious and I had two. Kids loved their waffles and milkshakes and my husband also enjoyed his waffles and egg on the side. This was a welcome relaxed morning out after some big travel days. Highly recommended for families.

If I hadn't been so hungry and this establishment recommended I would have walked away 5 minutes in to the 15 minutes we waited to even be acknowledged. Once seated we waited another 20 minutes for two pineapple juices, before even placing our breakfast order. After all that the food wasn't even that good. Appreciate others have different experiences but this was making me see red. Also watching other hungry people turn up being ignored by the staff didn't help.

Husband and I went for breakfast. Ordered a bacon and eggs benedict as well as a salmon and eggs benedict and two milkshakes. We were given the standard complementary water bottle and glasses when seated. It was a hot morning. The water was room temp and glasses were stained (appearing unclean). The salmon wasn't cooked and as a result was slimy and cold with the eggs being room temperature if that. It was a hot day and for $9 for a standard size milkshake (300mls) that was room temperature with no ice, understandably we were pissed. $58 for a below standard meal. Won't be going again.

Looked forward to breakfast here but disappointed. Much more expensive now they have moved, cooked breakfast was not hot, I’m sure it had been cooked and sitting waiting for someone to order. Orange juice was lovely but expensive, coffee good.

Wait staff lovely, and breakfast was fine. However kitchen needs to pull their head in. When you are well and truly charging at the high end of the scale for breakfast, I think the average person would expect to have eggs how they like them. However, when I asked medium poached ‘not hard but not running everywhere either’, I have never anywhere in Australia experienced that as anything out of the ordinary. A lot of people like the same. At the Little Larder it is a problem though, and the waitress advised the kitchen are not happy if asked for anything but hard or soft. I’d love to know managements take on that and also on wait staff having to be nervous to write down requests

Good location and variety on the breakfast menu. Wait staff friendly and easy going. Everyone appreciates that COVID-19 has caused restaurant owners major problems and concerns but waiting 45 minutes, after the order was taken, for a simple eggs and bacon is ridiculous. Asked why taking so long and told they had a large order before us. No attempt to be pro active and warn of the delay and no attempt to retrieve the situation once aware of it. We all make allowances given the current situation but ignoring the impact on your customers just smacks of a poor customer service culture. Experience was a bad start to the weekend morning. Not what we were expecting. There are plenty of alternative breakfast locations near by.

Visited here twice for breakfast, both times a very pleasant experience. First time had the waffles with berries, well presented and good portion size, delicious tastes. Got food envy at my husbands Nourish bowl so vowed to visit again before our holiday ended. Nourish bowl doesn’t disappoint, a very fresh and satisfying selection of broccolini, sweet peas, radishes, cherry tomatoes, pickled cabbage, spinach leaves, nuts and seeds with a light lemon dressing. We added falafels to ours which were some of the best we have had. Coffee is good, which is a bonus as we are very fussy with our coffee. Service is great, very fast and attentive, and ambiance is good with big open sides allowing an outside dining feel.

When my husband and I arrived at the entry of Little Larder yesterday at about 11.10am, we were behind a larger group of about 5. They were shown to a table but the older waitress at the entry called out to us in a loud, rude manner and said ‘we’re closed for breakfast, come back later for lunch’ (not likely). I have never been told to leave a cafe before because I arrived in between ‘designated breakfast and lunch times’. We would have been happy with just a coffee and cake, but she didn’t even ask us what we were there for or give any other options - just told us to go away very loudly in front of all the other patrons (who looked surprised by her rudeness and embarrassed for us). Yes they were busy, but if she can’t handle that and remain polite to customers in the hospitality industry she should consider a career change… or retirement! We ended up going to Whileaway Book & Coffee Shop and had great coffee, friendly service and the best almond croissant - will definitely go back to Whileaway!

We arrived and were seated reasonably quickly. As they were busy coffee did take extra time to arrive. Breakfast was quite good, tasty and reasonably priced, about on a par with a Melbourne or Sydney eatery. Quite popular so be prepared for a wait to be seated. Recommend as a cheaper option than a hotel breakfast.

We had lunch at this restaurant and enjoyed our meal. We have some food allergies and the chef was great in dealing with them. We had the botanical burger, cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich and prawns. All were well prepared and presented.

Ate here one morning whilst on holidays in Port Douglas. Definitely recommend. Good choice of menu options. My coffee was served not very warm so complained and new coffee was brought over with apologies. Good set up on the Main Street worry a visit!

We arrived at 11.30am and they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch so we opted to sit and have a drink before ordering lunch at 12midday. I had a nut smoothie which was very good and filling enough to wait for 30 mins and not so filling that it spoilt my appetite for lunch. We were able to order right on 12 midday and the food came soon after. We had the slow cooked brisket toasted sandwich which was sooooo good. It was heaving with the brisket filling and toasted with just the right amount of butter on the outside to make it crispy and not greasy. Yummm. The tables overlooking the side street were comfortable with the light breeze blowing in and we had a very leisurely lunch. My husband enjoyed the beer on tap and was happy that he could order this before lunch.

After asking for a lunch menu and being told we’d be brought one shorty (in a rude tone) we waited patiently for about 20 minutes.. we decided we would leave with empty tummy’s and feeling quiet unhappy. Service is terrible.. will not go back.
