Went here for dinner whilst on our honeymoon. We had called up and made a reservation, upon arrival we were seated outside (if we hadnt made a reservation we wouldve been seated indoors where it was a bit stuffy). We werent very hungry so opted only for main meals. We decided on the duck & veggies plus a chicken pad... More

We had dinner here one night and loved it. Service was good and staff friendly. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed each meal. We had a few shared plates. The Coconut crumbed prawns were wonderful. Highly recommended. Wine a little on over priced for the brands.

We needed a quick satisfying meal as having been out all day we were hungry but also tired and that was exactly what we got. Great Specials of Scallops and delicious Thai Red Duck and Panang Curry all served with amazing speed. We really did enjoy it and came away thoroughly satisfied but don't come here if you want a... We ate here twice during our stay in Port Douglas...a little gem!! Excellent Thai food, nicely presented by friendly, helpful staff. Lots of choice on the menu also the specials board - recommend the coconut prawns starter - and a good wine selection.

There are not many BYO restaurants in Port Douglas but Siam by the Sea allows own wine. Food, especially the entrees was excellent. Good value. Outside table best but make a booking. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were lucky to get a table here after reading other Tripadvisor reviews as we all fancied a thai meal. The food was fresh & delicious and the service was good. We liked the Wharf Street location.

Nice food. Left very full and happy with our meal, decent value and pleasant service. We always judge a good Thai restaurant by their Tom Yum soup, this one did not disappoint. Would come back when in Pt.D again.

We ate here because we were craving Thai food. Solid regular food for a good price. It is not gastronomic but very tasty. The staff are Thai and the taste authentic.

There is no shortage of places to eat at when in Port Douglas, amongst my favourites is Siam by the sea. Casual dining, fast service, generous service and friendly staff all add up to an enjoyable dining experience without the noise of the pubs closer to the main street.

After a week of over priced sea food i was hanging out for a beef curry and Siam by the sea was great. excellent portion size, good value. BYO. choice of seating, on the street or inside away from the crowd. we also had the full barra, sweet and sour pork and red chicken curry. all excellent.

Thank Terry C
