With childrens menu items starting at $26 it left a lot to be desired from go to woah. The Entrees were by far the best part of the dining experience. If I’m honest it’s over priced and underwhelming. Some of the staff did their best...to make up a little of the short fall but from the strange dining table assemblies to the lack of attention where it counts we were bitterly disappointed with the $300+ experience and would strongly recommend rethinking your visit.More

A wonderful night and a superb meal. We were assigned a romantic table for two in a window alcove on the lagoon. We were able to have the windows open so we were comfortable with the internal air conditioning and the outside fresh air. The...food was the best! I had the king salmon entree with Tikka masala and caviar - what an amazing combination. My partner had the scallops which he loved. We both chose the daily special of pork belly for our main course - so, so good! But I have to talk about the bread - the best bread we have each ever tasted in the whole world. The restaurant is about as good as it gets in Port Douglas. It's kind of what seems to be a corporate space converted to a restaurant but it works. Lovely outlook. Could lose the brown, very tired, limp fire hazard dried flower arrangements. The charcoal...bread is out of this world as is the accompanying butter. The crayfish is second to none. Beef is not great. We tried multiple options and all were sub par. Service okay. A lot of staff in training. They forgot about us more than once. Our drinks ran dry repeatedly. The restaurant is incredible. The food was absolutely magnificent. We were a party of six so we tried a lot of different things on the menu and every dish was perfection. The staff were brilliant. We could not fault it. Best restaurant in Port Douglas....We will be going back.More

Very unhappy with the customer service received by Harrison’s during my recent visit with my family.prices were expensive and not worth the visit. My family made a special visit to Harrison’s, however left due to poor customer service. I also don’t appreciate bullying by the...host after I left my last review with a follow up phone call arguing why she doesn’t agree with the review that I’ve given. I noticed everyone was given the drinks list before the menu. I like to have both at the same time so you can decide on which wine you are going to have with your food choices. We ordered the special Steak Diane, I ordered medium/rare...and my husband ordered rare sadly neither was cooked correctly - don’t get me wrong meat was beautiful, tender and juicy but could have had a little less time on the grill. We were told the steak came with hand cut chips which we assumed would be thick hot chips, instead they were just cold thin potato crisps like out of a packet. Maybe more of a clear description would help. Ambiance was lovely, good service, we will come back and try again next time we are at The Sheraton Port Douglas.More
