Came here for breakfast, it was busy (lots of boats going out) but the waitress was super friendly and helpful, even grabbing a table for us inside when it started raining and we hadn’t even moved to get up! Had the omelette and it was...delicious.More
Lovely setting but service was poor and food very average. Ordered scallops for entree and although it was supposed to be 6 in half shell with garlic butter i got 4 tiny ones with some sort of aioli and capsicum. Which would be ok but...i am allergic to capsicum so order things without. The main came with slaw- which also had capsicum. Now my bad for not mentioning but as all ingredients seemed to be listed i didnt think it necessary.
I didnt make a fuss, just asked for a plate so i could take the food off and away from what makes me sick. A rude chef gave a plate, no staff came to assist. And no one came to take the two plates containing all the rest of my food. So i had very average scallops(4) not (6) and very average calamari.
Very disappointing food service and experience. It will be my last, and the others at my table were equally appalled so they wont go back either.
This is definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, and as such very overpriced for the food served. Luckily they dont open for dinner!More
Decided to kill some time on the marina prior to heading out on the water and so I popped into Lure to have some lunch. Very nice setup with full view of the water and all the boats coming back in accompanied with friendly staff....I decided to give the fish n chips a go as I was yet to try coral trout and now I see what all the fuss is about. 2 beautifully prepared tempura battered fillets and super crispy chips, was a fantastic meal and will definitely return in good time.More
Despite staff shortages and being busy the owner of the restaurant served us with a friendly smile and could remember our order without writing it down.
We ate outside and enjoyed a view with our lunch arriving fairly soon after ordering.
It was really delicious...and the servers were very generous
I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a great meal and lovely viewsMore
Perfect lunch experience
The staff were really friendly and accommodating, the salt and pepper squid salad was cooked perfectly with a light balanced batter with a fresh and delicious salad. My friend had the cone of prawns which was very generous for the price and...she said they were the best she had in the area, so fresh and easy to peel.
Fabulous refreshing cocktails, loved it!More
Ate fabulous mussels overlooking the water and sail boats with a few friends. Our Italian waiter was fun and obviously enjoyed his job. Returned 3 days later and seasonal mussels taken off the menu, so disappointed, but soon found another favourite. Give them a try
