This was our first visit to Choo Choos and we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, quick service, stunning outlook over the marina, gluten free and lactose free options and delicious breakfast. We’ll be back!

As a Port Douglas local I've eaten breakfast here well over a dozen times, let alone lunches and coffees since they first opened. UNFORTUNATELY, while the food is still good, the staff have a real attitude issue, the 'millenial' on the front counter, was rude...More

Read about Choo choos in the Port magazine, so we decided to call in on the way home for lunch. Totally different , a great scenic venue next to the golf course, water way and the train line. The steam train was in and getting...More
Fabulous-thanks Paul-a secret hidden gem indeed!
We had lunch at Choo Choos at the Marina our first day in Port Douglas and then breakfast at St Crispins several days later. Both were very good, i think the setting is a bit nicer at St Crispin but lunch was better value.
Love your play on words more than anything ;)

Came for the morning coffee , which was great. Greeted by friendly staff who set a tab as we indicated we were staying for breakfast. The lake had a baby crocodile and some archer fish. Looking out at the lush green golf course was refreshing...More

Stayed in PD for four nights at an apartment hotel and Choo Choos was only a quick walk away and therefore ideal for breakfast. The staff were very bright and helpful and the quality of the coffee (and I'm originally from Melbourne) was excellent. Very...More
Fabulous, thank you!
We walked out and back for breakfast from the Macrossan St area. The setting is really lovely, by a large pond and lovely gardens. For me this was the stand out being here. Eggs Benedict ok, eggs a bit on the small side for my...More
